Florence, S.C. (February 25) – Florence-Darlington Technical College (FDTC) has partnered with two-time NASCAR All-Pro Series champion, Hal Goodson, for the 2015 Pee Dee Coastal Super Truck Series and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model seasons.
CHARLOTTE, NC (February 24) – With Speedweeks 2015 concluding at Daytona International Speedway, race fans and pundits are now reflecting on what this year’s action might tell us about the new season. Upon observation, several Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model graduates had a successful start. 2011 PASS South Super Late Model rookie, Ryan Reed, shocked the racing fraternity by capturing his first Xfinity Series win with a last lap pass of former PASS South car owner Brad Keselowski.

Waterbury, VT – American Canadian Tour (ACT) sophomore driver Josh Demers of East Montpelier, VT graduated from the Bond Auto Tiger division in 2013, an intermediate division at his home track Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT.
That year, Demers also bought a used ACT Late Model in anticipation of moving full-time to the ACT Late Models at Thunder Road in 2014. He entered his first ACT Late Model event at the inaugural International race held in July 2013 at Airborne Speedway, Plattsburgh, NY. It was a $25,000.00 to win race with every major team in ACT registered to compete. After qualifying heats and consolations, Demers had one final chance to get into the biggest race of the year. He needed to win the “last chance race” which offered a purse of $3,000.00 to win or, give up the money, and receive a starting spot in the 300-lap segment main event and start dead last in 40th position. New Smyrna Beach, Florida – After competing in the Florida Governors Cup and the Red Eye 100 at New Smyrna late last year and early in 2015, the Derek Griffith race team were gearing up for their most successful speedweeks to date.
Unfortunately, after a lap one skirmish that left the No 12 Mom’s of Manchester Toyota Camry on the wrecker back in the pits, the young New Hampshire driver had a lot to think about.

CHARLOTTE, NC (February 19) – As the 2015 Pro All Stars Series (PASS) season approaches in just over two weeks at South Carolina’s Dillon Motor Speedway, a pair of talented brothers fully expect to be part of the championship chase. Coulter Motorsports expands in 2015, fielding the Noles Cabinets #2 Chevrolet for Trevor Noles in the PASS South Super Late Model division, while newcomer Wesley Noles will drive the Wurth Military Missions In Action #22 Chevrolet in the PASS Pro Late Model division.
Trevor Noles heads to Dillon Motor Speedway for the 10th Annual South Carolina Clash as a preseason favorite for the PASS South Super Late Model championship. But, that optimism is tempered by the memory of a slow start to the season in 2014 which the team could never fully recover from. Noles finished a very disappointing 28th in last year’s season opener at Greenville-Pickens Speedway and followed that up with more disappointment by finishing 14th at Dillon. However, with a full year now under his belt racing PASS South Super Late Models and teamed again with veteran crew chief Randy Renfrow, Trevor believes the team will fare much better in this year’s “Clash.”

EAST MONTPELIER, Vt. – Excited to be back in the race car, Packard rolled the 9x Northstar Fireworks/Packard Fuels car out of the hauler for the first practice of the 2015 American Canadian Tour season. “We have never been racing down south with the ACT car and New Smyrna was a different track than what we have up north,” said Packard. “The track was really fast, but a lot of fun to drive and a great experience for me and the team.”
With the sun shining and warm temperatures, Packard began getting acclimated with New Smyrna Speedway. Since her fellow competitors already had an advantage of practicing and racing 100 laps the day before, Packard spent the first practice learning the track and dialing the car in. “We were a little behind by not racing on Sunday, and all the things that we fought in practice on Monday; the other teams had already been able to overcome,” Packard said, “but we spent the day gaining on the car and getting it ready for the race.”
