Tate Fogleman Partners With Woodman Racing For Run At PASS Titles

309-PASS South Print LogoCHARLOTTE, NC (February 3) – Jay Fogleman Racing will partner with Woodman Racing to field the #8 Ford entry for Tate Fogleman. The new team will chase both the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) National Championship and PASS South Super Late Model titles in 2015. Woodman Racing’s Dicky Woodman will maintain the machine out of his China Grove, NC shops and will serve as crew chief on race day for the third generation racer.

Derek Griffith Ready For His Second Florida Speedweeks

Derek Griffith (New Smyrna Beach, FL) – Derek Griffith, the young northeast driver will make, the more than 1000 mile journey from New Hampshire to New Smyrna Speedway in Florida to compete in his second Florida Speedweeks.

Griffith recently raced at New Smyrna in the Red Eye 100 in preparation for the 2015 Speedweeks event and brought home a very respectable eighth-place finish. “We really had a fantastic car at the Red Eye”, explained Griffith. “We competed with some of the best drivers on the East Coast and held our own, it was a good race and I think it’ll help us during Speedweeks.” (more…)

Must See Racing Sprint Cars To Join PASS Super Late Models For Easter Bunny 150 At Hickory

300-PASS-South-Logo-copyCHARLOTTE, NC (January 29) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) President Tom Mayberry is pleased to announce that a deal has been finalized to include the Must See Racing Sprint Cars at this year’s Easter Bunny 150 weekend at Hickory Motor Speedway. Additionally, the 10th Annual Easter Bunny 150 weekend will expand to a two day show for the first time in the prestigious event’s history. The Easter Bunny 150 will be the second PASS National Championship Series race of 2015 and will feature the best Super Late Model racers from the North and South. For the Must See Racing Sprints, the event is shaping up to be a ‘Southern Showdown’ as the Tampa Bay Area Racing Association (TBARA) teams are invited to participate. The TBARA has been in a dormant state since club members decided to temporarily put the series in hiatus several weeks ago. A vote by the club in the coming weeks will determine if the TBARA will accept the invitation.

Eddie MacDonald Readies for Florida

RPM_4829The American Canadian Tour opener at New Smyrna Speedway in Florida will feature three nights of racing as part of the World Series of Asphalt Racing with Eddie MacDonald ready to participate in the inaugural American Racer Challenge Cup. The Cup Challenge is slated to take the green flag for two 100 lap events on Monday, February 16 and Tuesday, February 17. The ACT cars will also be in action on Sunday, February 15 as a stand-alone 100 lap event made possible when a racing series cancelled their participation.

“We are ready and excited to race at New Smyrna Speedway in February,” said Eddie Mac. “Last time we were there (2011), we didn’t finish too well (seventh overall) but we have the new car that won a couple of times last year so we are looking to greatly improve that finish. This car won the ACT opener at Lee in the Governor’s Cup and the Milk Bowl at Thunder Road plus a couple of other solid finishes last season.”  (more…)
