Webb 100.

Coby took the lead on a late restart and coasted across the finish line after the caution came out for a hard crash involving Ted Christopher, who was running second and in contention for his sixth career win at NHMS before being taken out by rival Donny Lia.

Reserve Milk Bowl Gains Interest with Competitors

Barre, VT – More than 60 ACT Late Model teams are expected to pour into Thunder Road for the 50th Annual People’s United Milk Bowl on September 29th and 30th from all over the Northeast and Canada, where only 30 teams will qualify for the big show. New in 2012, non-qualified cars will now get to race in a newly added $3,000 to win, 100-lap ‘Reserve’ Milk Bowl with posted awards of over $20,000.

The race has added extra incentive for teams all over the region to attend.

“I think a lot of teams fear the amount of cars that come in here for this race,” said three-time Thunder Road Champion Phil Scott. “It’s such a huge race in this area, a lot of people go home without qualifying. This is a great way for everybody to participate in a big show for good money.”
