Late in the 2018 Racing season, Jake Matheson announced that he would be making his full sized race car debut with the Granite State Pro Stock Series. His family owned team had purchased a car from eventual series champion and friend Devin O’Connell and were in the process of getting it ready for 2019.
(more…)ACT Making Return to Star Speedway for Summer Kickoff Finale
Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) travels to Epping, NH’s Star Speedway for the first time since 2013 this Saturday, June 29 at 4:30pm. The Dream Ride 150 will certainly be a dream for at least one driver with a $5,000 check awaiting the winner of the Summer Kickoff Series finale.
The month of June has been a big-money month for the ACT Late Model Tour with two $5,000 winner’s prizes already awarded. Lebanon, NH’s Rich Dubeau grabbed five grand for his first ACT win at Quebec’s Autodrome Chaudiere on June 1 while Williamstown, VT’s Jimmy Hebert took the second $5,000 award at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway on June 15. The duo now sit 1-2 in the point standings, meaning both will surely be a threat for another big score on Saturday.

(more…)NAPLES, ME (June 20) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials today released details, entry forms, and the complete weekend schedule for the PASS National Championship season finale at Lanier Raceplex on November 15-16. The Lanier National 200 for the PASS Super Late Models will be 200 laps, paying $6000 to win and $1000 to start. The starting grid will be set by heat races in which their lineups will be determined by using last practice speeds. Finally, the popular Legends car and Bandoleros will complete the weekend of competition at Lanier Raceplex, featuring three divisions of Legend car racing; Pro, Semi-Pro, and the Young Lions.
