PASS Souths Howler 150 Looks to be bigger and better than Ever

CHARLOTTE, NC (October 7) – Each and every year when the temperatures fall and the leaves begin to change color, racers around the country look forward to the major events that mark the end of another racing season.  It is no different for the teams of the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model division.  Three races remain on the 2008 schedule and each of them carries plenty of money and their own share of prestige.  Those races are the Howler 150 on October 18th at the Greenville-Pickens (SC) Speedway paying $5, 500 to win, the Mason Dixon 500 on October 25th at South Boston (VA) Speedway paying $10,000 to win, and the Thanksgiving Classic on November 29th at the Southern National Raceway Park in Kenly, NC paying $5,000 to win.  Over the coming weeks we will look at each of these races individually and at what makes each of them stand out in their own right.

PASS Sportsman Championship on the line at Riversides Frostbite 250

Naples ME (October 7, 2008)  Richie Morse  will  attempt to wrap up his first Pro All Stars Series (PASS) PLuffybilt  Racing Tractors Sportsman Series Championship on Saturday October 11th  at Groveton NH’s Riverside Speedway . The Waterford Maine racer currently holds a 26 point edge in the standings over Steve Bennett, (276-250) after six events of the seven race 2008 series. Terry Merrill trails the pair in third at 222 with Shane Tatro fourth at 219. Dan McKeage rounds out the top five with 199.

Lucas claims fifth PASS Mod win, edges Shaw for title at Wiscasset

Naples ME (October 5, 2008) The preliminaries were over and the stage was set for an exciting PASS Mod Championship finale at  Wiscasset (ME) Raceway Saturday.  Mark Lucas and Andy Shaw entered the Pro All Stars Series Mod division feature tied atop the point standings, and the pair waged a forty lap war for the win and the title. When the checkers flew Lucas had scored his fifth win of the ten race 2008 PASS Mod schedule to claim his second series championship. Shaw came up just two points short in his bid for the championship, finishing second in the race and in the standings; Troy Morse, Chubby Howe and Glen Bradbury finished third through fifth.

Bates bags the Brawl, Clark claims third Championship

Naples ME – (October 5, 2008)  PASS North sophomore Adam Bates raced past Cassius Clark on lap 99 of Saturday nights Pro All Stars Series (PASS)  Ray Haskell Ford Fall Brawl 150 at Wiscasset Raceway to claim his second PASS North super late model win of 2008.
