CHARLOTTE, NC (August 28) – As the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models get ready for this weekend’s Piedmont Pride 125 presented by 93.1 FM The Wolf, the series championship is gearing up to be quite a battle. Coming to Caraway Speedway, PASS South points leader Corey Williams is in a tight battle that sees him leading fifth place in points Mark Gibson by just 74 points. It could be the unknowns, however, that will play the biggest factor in who leaves Caraway in the best position for the championship.

Former three-time NASCAR All Pro Series Champion Jeff Fultz and up and coming driver Logan Ruffin are among the drivers who have already competed in more and more PASS South events as the season has gained momentum and it looks like they will be joined by some more impressive names.

BARRE, VT – Eric Williams has a lot on the line at Thursday’s Kinney Drugs stock car event at Thunder Road in Barre. Williams has a narrow lead in the Late Model division’s “King of the Road” championship chase, and is chasing an elusive first title after more than a decade in the headline division; he finished second in points in 1999 and 2002, and third in 1996 and 2003.
