CHARLOTTE, NC (February 20) – Following a three-month offseason, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model racers will kick off the 2018 National Championship season this Saturday afternoon at Dillon Motor Speedway in South Carolina. The 13th Annual South Carolina Clash 200 will see the best short track racers from across North America converge on the tough egg-shaped oval for the $6000 top prize. While Turner, ME’s Ben Rowe will be on quest for his sixth PASS National title, Kannapolis, NC’s Matt Craig will be going for an unprecedented third straight PASS South Super Late Model championship beginning at Dillon.

NAPLES, ME (January 26) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have released the six dates and locations that will make up the 11th Annual PASS National Championship Series.  The schedule is comprised of six premier Super Late Model events, at a diverse group of tracks in both PASS North and PASS South, that will determine an overall PASS National Champion.  The PASS National Championship Series will see the champion crowned in the final race of the 2018 season at Hickory Motor Speedway in the 13th Annual Mason-Dixon Meltdown 200.  And, for the first time ever, the PASS National Championship Series will visit Richmond Raceway in Virginia to headline the inaugural Commonwealth Classic on October 19-20.  Additionally, the Spring’s most prestigious short track race in the country, the 13th Annual Easter Bunny 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway, will now see the top three finishers get guaranteed starting spots, not only for the 45th Annual Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway, but also for the Commonwealth Classic at Richmond.  (more…)

The 2018 race season is just around the corner and Kate Re of Lovell, Maine will be starting the next step in her racing career. “My plans for the 2018 season are to get as much seat time and learn as much as possible.   I’m excited to try something new and look forward to the season.”

 

There are a number of different types of race cars and series, so what made Kate decide to race modifieds, this season? “I’ve wanted to race a modified, ever since I started racing.  I like the open wheel style of a modified; I always liked racing the Champ karts when I had the chance, they have a similar open wheel style.”

PASS, NEMST to Headline “Milk Bowl Friday” at Thunder Road

Barre, Vt. – Thunder Road officials announced today that both the Pro All Star Series (PASS) Super Late Models and the North East Mini Stock Tour (NEMST) have been added to the 56th Vermont Milk Bowl Weekend presented by Northfield Savings Bank in 2018. The two series will be part of a special “Milk Bowl Friday” event to be held on Friday, September 28.

It will be the second PASS North visit of the 2018 season to the Barre high banks, joining the Memorial Day Classic event that has been on the PASS calendar since 2015. For NEMST, they will make the trip to Thunder Road for the second time in their history and the first since 2013.
