–       PASS 300 At Beech Ridge Joins Icebreaker At Thompson and Oxford Plains Opener Again In April
–       PASS Adds Dates At Thunder Road, Petty, And Speedway 51 

NAPLES, ME (January 6) – Coinciding with the series banquet tonight, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced the release of the 2018 schedule for the PASS North Super Late Models.  The Northeast’s top short trackers will once again compete at some of the best speedways in New England and Canada, highlighted by the 45th Annual Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway on the final weekend of August.  The season will begin for the third straight year at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in Connecticut as part of the Icebreaker weekend on April 7-8.  PASS will return to Canada in 2018 with a first ever trip to New Brunswick’s Petty International Raceway in June.  The PASS North Super Late Models will compete on 10 different speedways in 4 states and Canada in 2018. PASS, NEMST to Headline “Milk Bowl Friday” at Thunder Road

Barre, Vt. – Thunder Road officials announced today that both the Pro All Star Series (PASS) Super Late Models and the North East Mini Stock Tour (NEMST) have been added to the 56th Vermont Milk Bowl Weekend presented by Northfield Savings Bank in 2018. The two series will be part of a special “Milk Bowl Friday” event to be held on Friday, September 28.

It will be the second PASS North visit of the 2018 season to the Barre high banks, joining the Memorial Day Classic event that has been on the PASS calendar since 2015. For NEMST, they will make the trip to Thunder Road for the second time in their history and the first since 2013.

PASS South Super Late Models Set For March Return To Caraway

CHARLOTTE, NC (January 3) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced today that the PASS South Super Late Models will return to Caraway Speedway near Asheboro, NC for the second race of the 2018 season. The South’s original and longest running Super Late Model tour will compete in the RGS Products 125 at Caraway Speedway on Sunday, March 11, with an optional practice day scheduled for Saturday, March 10. The RGS Products 125 will be part of the season opener at Caraway Speedway for the Southern Modified Racing Series (SMRS) Tour Modifieds, which will also be competing for 99 laps. This event will be the first of three that will see two of the region’s premier touring series compete alongside one another, joining the 13th Annual Easter Bunny weekend at Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 31 and the Memorial Day weekend event at Concord Speedway on Friday, May 25.

Late-Race Contact Propels Brandon Setzer To $15,000 PASS Win At Hickory

HICKORY, NC (November 18) – Hometown favorite Brandon Setzer took the lead after contact with Garrett Hall coming to the white flag to go on and win the Mason-Dixon MegMeltdown 300 for the Pro All Star Series (PASS) Super Late Models Saturday afternoon at Hickory Motor Speedway. Setzer’s third PASS Super Late Model win was the biggest of his career as he took home the $15,000 winner’s prize.

“He [Hall] had the best car, I hate it ended like that, but the lapped car just screwed him up,” said Setzer, driver of the Romeo Guest Construction/The Jewelry Exchange Ford #6. “As soon as he [Hall] went to the outside I saw the lapped car waving to the inside and I said, ‘Oh, I’ve got a hole,’ I filled the hole, he tried to come back down, but at that point I couldn’t back out. Man, this means the world to me. I could’ve won the Daytona 500 and not be this happy.”

Big Month Of November On Tap For PASS Racers At Concord And Hickory

CHARLOTTE, NC (October 26) – Big race season is upon short track racing’s best as Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model racers prepare for two huge race weekends during the month of November in North Carolina. The 15th Annual North-South Shootout will be up first at the tough, triangular Concord Speedway on Saturday afternoon, November 4. And then, that will be followed by the most anticipated, revamped event in the country, the 12th Annual Mason-Dixon MegaMeltdown 300 at Hickory Motor Speedway. The MegaMeltdown will carry a winner’s purse of at least $15,000 to win and will be televised nationally on MAV TV. And, best of all, both races will start during the warmth of the afternoon and feature major support division races to add to the fans race day experience.
