OXFORD, Maine – Kevin Harvick is stock car racing’s equivalent of a big-game quarterback. Consider the 2007 season, when Harvick swept the season-opening Daytona 500 and Orbitz 300 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Three months later, with another million-dollar jackpot sitting on the table, Harvick scored his first-ever victory in the NASCAR Nextel All-Star Challenge at Lowe’s (N.C.) Motor Speedway.

Portland, Maine-With approximately 400 people in attendance, the Holiday Inn by the Bay was the setting for the crowning achievements of the 2007 NASCAR Whelan All American Series held at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. The 59th awards ceremony was brought to a hush during opening moments of the awards presentation as the Whiz Kidz were receiving their trophies.

Speedway 95 News Release 11-17-07
(Hermon, Me) Speedway 95 held the final event of the season Saturday, November 17th, with the annual awards banquet at the Elks Club in Bangor. Paul White of Corrinna was crowned champion of the Sportsman Pro-Stock division for the 2007 season. White was also awarded the special Tech award for the division. The track also announced a new 6 cylander division for Wednesday nights called “The Cheaters.”
