Ryan Robbins wins Super Late Model race on Championship Night at Oxford Plains Speedway
Gabe Brown, 15, is youngest champion of top class in racetrack’s long history
Oxford, Maine — Ryan Robbins of Dixfield drove to his second Super Late Model victory of the season, while Gabe Brown of Center Conway, New Hampshire earned his first stock car racing championship atop the Budweiser Championship Series racing card at Oxford Plains Speedway Saturday night.
Robbins, a former PASS Modified track and series champion, became the only two-time winner in points-counting races in the top class of competition at the historic Route 26 oval track this season.

MIKE HOPKINS WINS THRILLING BOSS HOGG 150 AT WISCASSET SPEEDWAY

Wiscasset Speedway capped off an action-packed Labor Day weekend doubleheader on Sunday afternoon with the running of the 2018 Boss Hogg 150. The annual Pro Stock race attracted 32 of the region’s best racers all gunning for the $5000 winner’s take of a near $30,000 purse. Josh St Clair of Liberty, grandson of Hall of Fame racer “Boss Hogg” Dave St Clair led the field to the green with former BH100 winner Andy Saunders of Ellsworth alongside. The race got off to a rough start with 3 red flags for multi-car wrecks between lap 15 and 20, mostly thinning our cars in the middle and rear of the field. (more…)

Eddie MacDonald Wins Oxford 150 and Finishes Eleventh in the Oxford 250
Eddie MacDonald set the tone Saturday for the huge Oxford 250 weekend at the famed Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine with a win in the American Canadian Tour’s Oxford 150. Eddie Mac struggled for most of the Super Late Model Oxford 250 to post an 11th place finish on Sunday.

FULL MOON FEVER AT WISCASSET SPEEDWAY
Wiscasset Speedway was in action Saturday, August 25th with Group 1 on track. The full moon loomed overhead and seemed to add in its usual plot twists and turns. Super Streets and Thunder 4 Minis ran double features in an effort to make up a previously rained out event. Also in action were Pro Stocks, 4-Cylinder Pros, and a 100 lap Enduro to wrap up the show.
