PASS North Banquet of Champions November 4

Naples ME (10/10) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North season still has one event to go but we do know when the series will celebrate the 2011 season. The annual PASS Banquet of Champions is set for November 4 2011 at the Howard Johnson’s Convention Center, 155 Riverside Street in Portland Maine.

The evening gets under way with a 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM social hour followed by dinner from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Then its time for the awards ceremony, followed by dancing to DJ Jesse Butler until 11:30.

Brian Hoar Claims 49th Annual People’s United Bank Win

Barre, VT – Eight-time ACT Late Model Tour Champion Brian Hoar of Williston, VT claimed his third career People’s United Bank Milk Bowl win at Thunder Road in Barre, VT on Sunday, October 9. Hoar claimed the 49th running of the Milk Bowl by winning two segments, while holding off a hard charging Nick Sweet over the final 15 laps of the third and final segment. Hoar and his Rick Paya Motorsports team will cash a check of over $10,000 including lap money.

Plattsburgh, NY – Hudson, New Hampshire’s Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. claimed the American-Canadian Tour Rent-A-Wreck Fall Foliage 200 win at Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, New York on Saturday, October 8. Polewarczyk claimed his first ACT point race win of the season in the combination ACT Tour and Série ACT Castrol event.

FOURTH PLACE FINISH FOR EDDIE MACDONALD AT DOVER

NASCAR K&N Pro SeriesEddie MacDonald and the Grimm Racing Team closed out the K&N Pro Series East schedule with an impressive fourth place finish in the Dover 150 at the Dover International Speedway. After “terrible” practice and qualifying sessions, the #71 Grimm Construction Chevy fought its way from a 26th starting position to post its second top five run in the final two events of the season.

Seekonk Or Lee Will Again Decide VMRS Title

Canaan, N.H. – -Two traditional race events, popular with fans and competitors alike, will determine the 2011 Valenti Modified Racing Series championship.

As in past years, the run to the title could be claimed this weekend, Oct 8 and 9, at Seekonk Speedway. Seekonk, MA., at the annual “DAV Fall Classic,” or Oct 22, and 23 at New Hampshire’s Lee USA Speedway as part of that track’s 25th annual “Oktoberfest” weekend.
