Lee, NH – The Lee USA Speedway Prime Storage and Warehouse Late Model Sportsmen took center stage on Friday night for the running of the annual Firecracker 100, an extra-distance, extra-payoff race, with a mandatory pit stop getting crews involved in determining the final outcome.
Two-time 2013 feature winner Geoff Rollins took advantage of a front row start and jumped out to the lead early, and he stayed there over the first half of the race, with former champion Ryan Green holding down the second spot as the field reached the crossed flags.
With a competition caution scheduled for lap 75 if the race went that long without a yellow, the field ran caution-free for the first 67 laps, until defending champion J.R. Baril got involved in an incident that sent him into the third turn wall to slow the pace and send everybody down pit road.

This Friday night, May 24th, Lee USA Speedway will join the rest of the nation in celebrating Memorial Day Weekend with Veterans and Swings & Things Night, honoring our military veterans, particularly those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the land we love. In particular, Lee USA Speedway will remember the life of a US Army veteran and long-time supporter of the speedway, Jay Merryfield, who succumbed to cancer in January. Merryfield drove the Lee USA Suburban push truck for many years. He regarded the track as his home, and its fans, his family. Lee USA will remember him in a very special way this Friday night.

Lee, NH – The early-season battle for the 2013 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series championship continued last Friday night at Lee USA Speedway, with Mike Netishen making it three winners in three races when he easily outran the field to score his first win of the season in the Benson Lumber and Hardware-sponsored 30-lap feature event for the Small Block Supermodifieds.
Leslie Keyser broke out to the early lead when the green waved, but the field was quickly brought under caution when “Super Dave” Sanborn, fresh off a win the week before, lost power and came to a stop in turn one with just two laps in the record books.

Lee, NH – Lee USA Speedway hosted the second race of the 2013 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season on Friday night, with veteran driver “Super Dave” Sanborn taking down his first win of the season in the Benson Lumber and Hardware-sponsored 30-lap feature event for the Small Block Supermodifieds.
The action was halted by a red flag shortly after flagman Steve Grant had unfurled the green to let them loose, as a multi-car tangle collected nearly half the field in turn two. Most drivers were able to push off and rejoin the lineup, with a couple of drivers heading to the infield pit area for a quick once-over by their crews before re-entering the race.
