Brockton, MA – Two-time defending Northeastern Midget Association champion Randy Cabral insists he doesn’t look at the point standings, not this early in the season anyway. He might not be looking but others are and that includes two-time winner John Zych Jr.

Andy Barrows takes a 51-point bulge into the accompanying NEMA Lites event. Carl Medeiros Jr., who won twice at Lee last year, is determined to cut into that gap. Dan Cugini, Avery Stoehr and P.J. Stergois hold down spots three through five.

Scarborough, ME – Even with rainouts postponing a number of the races in the Pro All Stars Series North, DJ Shaw and the #60 Precision JLM team haven’t let that keep them from the track. After two wins in two races in weekly competition, Shaw and the team were riding on positive momentum going into round four of the PASS North tour at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. Shaw grabbed his first win of the season in the last PASS race at the Scarborough track, and took the win a week ago in the Nascar Whelen All-American Series “Pro Series 100.”
After a quick rainstorm earlier in the day to keep the theme of the season going, Shaw drove to a fourth place finish in his heat race. This would give Shaw a 12th place starting position for the 150 lap feature event.

Scarborough, ME – After several rain outs, Joey Doiron and the #73 Wild Willy Burger’s team was back in action this past weekend at their home track of Beech Ridge Motor Speedway for the fourth event of the Pro All Stars Series North. Doiron and the team have been stellar at the 3/8th mile track recently, finishing in the top five in three of their last four starts at the track. They continued that streak with a strong fourth place effort on Saturday night.
“We finished about where we should’ve tonight,” Doiron explained after the race, “We battled a tight racecar all night and kept getting pinned on the bottom on each restart, we used up our right front just trying to keep our track position, but I’m glad we were able to get another strong run to keep the momentum going.”
