Lee, N.H. — Chris Pasteryak, of Lisbon, CT, passed race leader Joe Doucette on lap 52 to go on and win the Valenti Modified Racing Series, Laticrete “Port City 100” Friday night, July 8, at Lee USA Speedway, Lee, NH.
The win was Pasteryak’s first at Lee, his second of the season, and his fifth career victory with the VMRS,

Brent Dragon: ACT Late Model Tour
Twin State Speedway Race Report
CLAREMONT, N.H. – Brent Dragon of Milton, Vt., finished a strong second in the ACT Late Model Tour Jim’s Captown 100 at Twin State Speedway in Claremont, N.H., on Saturday, July 9. The finish was the best of the season for the all-time leader in ACT starts, who won his heat race and started third at one of his favorite tracks on the circuit. Dragon’s own Dragon Motorsports car ran inside the Top-3 all night before a loose handling condition over the final few laps stopped him one spot short of the victory.

CLAREMONT, N.H. – Brian Hoar checked another track off his ACT Late Model Tour bucket list.
Hoar took the lead in the late stages of the Jim’s Captown 100 and went on to the victory for the 31st victory of his ACT career – and his first at the tricky Twin State Speedway.
“It feels great,” said Hoar, of Williston, Vt.. “Anytime you can add another track to the win column, it’s pretty awesome. The guys did an awesome job. We unloaded (for practice) and had a ton of confidence.” (more…)

Waterbury, VT – The biggest race in the 27-year history of the American Canadian Tour (ACT), on the biggest stage in northeast motorsports–the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS), is just a month away. Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, returns to PASS North Series competition this weekend when the series heads to the Southern Maine Motors 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, July 9. Doiron, the 2010 PASS Rookie of the Year, has scaled back to a part-time effort in the series after some bad luck early in the going. He heads to his home track at Beech Ridge this weekend, where he also has competed several times this season in the track’s NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series division.
