THE STORY
Brent Dragon of Milton, Vt., will have the advantage of experience when the ACT Late Model Tour takes on the Spring Green 111 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway, in West Haven, Vt., on Sunday, May 22. Dragon is one of the few ACT competitors who have already raced at Devil’s Bowl, having made a start there last year in a non-sanctioned event. THE STORY
Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., takes on the ACT Late Model Tour Spring Green 111 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven, Vt., on Sunday, May 22. The race will mark Hoar’s first career appearance at Devil’s Bowl Speedway, and the first time that the Spring Green has been contested at the fast half-mile track. Hoar and his RPM Motorsports team currently hold the lead in the ACT Tour standings following two weeks of rain and are in pursuit of an unprecedented eighth series championship. (more…)

THE STORY
Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, heads back to one of his best PASS North Series tracks when the series competes in the PASS 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, N.H., on Saturday, May 21. Doiron collected one of his five career Top-10 finishes in this race a year ago, and he’s looking for a second straight Top-10 finish after finishing 10th with a destroyed race car last weekend at Star Speedway. He had a sure Top-5 finish erased in a last-lap accident at Star that sidelined his primary car for this weekend.

THE STORY
Lonnie Sommerville of Saint John, New Brunswick, looks to keep his momentum rolling when the PASS North Series competes in the PASS 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, N.H., on Saturday, May 21. Sommerville is coming off a fourth-place finish at Star Speedway in Epping, N.H, and the Mulkern Racing driver sits third in the series points after the first two races of the season. Lee, NH – Lee USA Speedway continued the regular season for its weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series competitors on Friday night, with a Northeast Classic Lites event added to the action-packed feature event lineup.
The headlining Benson Lumber and Hardware-sponsored Whelen All American Series Small Block Supers went green with another solid 16-car field, and it was outside pole starter Matt Seavey gaining the advantage to set the pace in the early going. (more…)
