RACE RESULTS FOR LEE USA SPEEDWAY FOR AUGUST 28th
Sportsman was the highlight of the program at Lee USA Speedway last Friday
night, and despite another battle with wet weather, the race made it into
the record books.
Twin wins for Mason, Bosworth
Unity, Maine – Chris Thorne of Sidney drove to victory in the Late Model feature at Unity Raceway Friday night, scoring his first victory of the season at Maine’s Toughest Racing Oval. Mike Mason of Skowhegan and Bradley Bosworth of Cornville each won a pair of feature events on a busy, 12-feature racing program.
Lee, NH (8/24/09) – Lee USA Speedway, home to weekly sanctioned NASCAR stock
car racing, will honor one of its own Friday night, August 28th, when area
racers compete in the annual Lance Davis Late Model Sportsman Shootout 50
lap race.
TJ Watson of Cundys Harbor, Maine became the 14th qualifier for the ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with his win at Wiscasset Raceway on Sunday, August 16. Watson survived 15 cautions and a flat tire on his way from his 15th starting position to take the lead with only 12 laps remaining in the 150 lap event.
Lee, NH (8/17/09) — The 2009 racing season continues Friday night, August
21st, at Lee USA Speedway, Lee, NH; as the Pro Four Modifieds of New England
invade "NH's Center of Speed" for round three of their
Bot-L-Gas/RF Logic sponsored "Triple Crown Series." They'll join the NASCAR
Whelen All-American Weekly Series featuring drivers from throughout the
region.
Naples ME (8/17/2009) Seekonk Speedway regular Tom Scully Jr. worked his way to the front of the field at the halfway mark of Saturday night’s Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Cirelli Foods 150 and kept two of the touring series best in his mirrors to record an upset victory. At the checker it was Scully Jr. followed by Ben Rowe in second and Johnny Clark third. Derek Ramstrom and Dave Darling came home fourth and fifth in the twenty eight car field.
