With 3 wins already this season Emerson is looking to claim the Inagurial NEMST Championship. The 3rd annual 4-Cylinder Nationals presented by Kraze Korlacki Speed Equipment is this Sunday, August 2nd. The race will be the final points race for the 2009 NEMST season. The Nationals was set to throw a kink into the point standings at the end of the yewar, showcasing the Drivers and Teams that can tune their car for speed with its open-type rules package. The list of rules are short but the excitement and thrills are endless with the mix of the fastest four-cylinder mini stocks in the northeast.

The 2009 North East Mini Stock Tour is headed to Unity Raceway to make-up the May 29th rainout. This Friday night will be the second race in the NEMST TRi-SPORTS Triple Crown which was started 2 weeks ago in Wiscasset. Coming off of a great car count at Wiscasset and heading into the biggest race of the year just 1 week away in Beech Ridge. Unity will be the final test for a lot of the local mini stock racers.

Benjamin Nile of Anson, ME is racing this season in the Late Model Pro 4 at Unity Raceway
Benjamin’s career started in 2005 when he was only 8 years old and took home the Box Stock Champion at Richmond Raceway with 4 wins and 19 top 5 finishes. That year he won the 2005 Sportsmanship Award. Next Ben was the Junior Sportsman Champion at Richmond Raceway at only 9 years of age! He had 9 wins and over 20 top 3 finishes.
