RACE RESULTS ON JULY 17

Lee, NH – Wayne Helliwell, Jr. continued his drive to the 2009 NASCAR Whelen
All-American Series Late Model championship at Lee USA Speedway Friday
night, scoring his third win of the season in the 50-lap main event.

11 July 2009, Wiscasset Raceway.

Pre- Race Inspection: We found ourselves busy with 27 mini stocks in the pits. Tech was tasked with checking the safety of many new competitors, making ourselves available for questions and recording the performance/lap time’s of all cars during the three practice sessions. We were very pleased with the diversity of the field with Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen all represented. The three fastest laps in practice were: #34 – 17.95, #12 – 18.23, and the #92, & #88, -18.4.

RESULTS FOR JULY 10th AT LEE USA

Lee, NH – The thunder of the True Value Modified Series came rolling into
Lee USA Speedway on Friday night, with a full field of the high-powered
open-wheelers on hand for the running of the Port City 100 presented by
Laticrete.

Cayer Prevails In Largest NEMST Field Yet

              The NEMST rolled into Maine’s center of speed Wiscasset Raceway in Wiscasset, Maine Saturday night with the largest field of the season. 26 cars signed up to run with the NEMST for the first race of the TRi-SPORTS Triple Crown Series.  For the first time 3 heat races were required to run all of the cars that showed up.

NEMST 50 presented by TRi-SPORTS

The NEMST is invading Wiscasset Raceway this Saturday July 11th for a 50 lap feature. The race is Sponsored by TRi-SPORTS of Topsham, Maine and is the first race of the TRi-SPORTS Triple Crown Series. The trend of the NEMST so far has been with home track advantage so can tour regular Tim Collins cross the finish line first at his home track of Wiscasset or will it be Wiscasset Mini Stock regulars Kevin Douglass or Pete McCollett.
