FONTANA, Calif. (March 11, 2014) – Hangar 24 Craft Brewery, founded on a true passion for good beer, the absolute love of flying and the pure enjoyment of being around great friends, will serve as “The Official Craft Beer” of Auto Club Speedway for 2014.
Located in nearby Redlands, Hangar 24 products as well as other craft beers, will be served on race day in the FanZone and throughout the facility during Auto Club 400 Race Weekend, March 21-23. Hangar 24 will also be available in the VONS Infield Store.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to serve our locally produced beer at such a large national event as NASCAR’s Auto Club 400,” said Ben Cook, Hangar 24 founder and Master Brewer. “When we opened in 2008, you would’ve been hard pressed to find flavorful beer at a national venue like the Auto Club Speedway. Craft beer has come a long way and we are proud to represent an industry of small brewers at such a grand event.”

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery was founded in 2008 across from the Redlands, California airport. Widely known for their flagship beer, Orange Wheat, the brewery takes its name from the hangar in which Founder and Master Brewer Ben Cook and his fellow pilots would meet up with family and friends for a day of flying. Afterwards they would share stories, barbecue, play music and enjoy Ben’s latest batch of homebrews. Hangar 24 Craft Brewery embodies that spirit: good beer, a love of flying and the pure enjoyment of being among good friends.

Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour (ACT) released its 2014 schedule which is highlighted by visits to nine (9) different Northeast tracks. The schedule includes a total of twelve (12) events with nine (9) Championship point counting events and three popular ‘special’ events on the calendar.
The traditional event to open the 2014 campaign on April 12-13 will once again be at the Lee USA Speedway in Lee, New Hampshire. The ACT has been visiting the 1/3 mile oval since Red and Judy MacDonald purchased the speed plant in 1987. “It is just one of those relationships that have endured throughout the past 25 years. We tried to help Red and Judy when they first started, and they have been there for us whenever we needed help over the years. This kind of relationship, in this type of business, is generally very rare, but greatly appreciated” said Tom Curley, President of the American Canadian Tour, which was established in 1986.
The home of the ACT, Thunder Road International Speedbowl will host its only point counting event with the Merchants Bank 150 on opening weekend April 26-27. Next up will be the historic Spring Green 114 to be held at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Fair Haven, VT on Sunday, May 4. This will be the fourth opening day Spring Green event at the super fast ½ mile oval.

(Spencer, MA) – Victory Lane Radio, one of the leaders for live internet motorsports race talk in the New England region is joining forces with ETV Motorsports Radio and will be now heard on the popular live streaming audio website, HD Radio Network (HDRN).
2014 will mark the fifth year of broadcasting for the Massachusetts based online radio station and this affiliation with HDRN will open up the network to a much broader audience.

Walpole NH – As the Granite State Pro Stock Series enters its 3rd season of competition in 2014 there are changes ahead. Series President Mike Parks stated today that the afflation with Modified Racing Series will come to a close at the end of 2013. The Race day operations will all remain the same so things will continue as normal. Parks and the entire staff of the GSPSS wish to thank Jack Bateman and the entire group from the Modified Racing Series for their help the last two seasons. As we enter our 3rd season we are ready to stand on our own two feet. We are currently working on the 2014 schedule with a 12 to 14 race schedule.
