Hermon, ME – After a few weeks off, the Precision JLM Racing team with DJ Shaw behind the wheel traveled to Speedway 95 near Bangor, Maine for the sixth Pro All Stars Series North race of the season. Shaw lead the race early and continued his strong season with a third place finish in front of a packed crowd at the 1/3rd mile track.
“We had a really good car today, but Mike (Rowe) was really good on that long run we had and we couldn’t get back by him at the end,” said Shaw after the race, “There was definitely a lot of side by side racing all day long, we had fun and I’m happy to leave here with a good result.” (more…)

Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) makes its annual visit to the White Mountain Motorsports Park in N. Woodstock, NH for the WMMP 150 on Saturday, June 20. The event will be the seventh on the Tour’s 13-race schedule and officially mark the halfway point of the 2015 season.
As with ACT’s 23 previous visits to the 1/4-mile oval, many of the weekly White Mountain Late Model stars will take on the Tour’s best. Although there have been close calls, including former White Mountain Champion Travis Fadden’s third-place finish in 2014, the local drivers are still looking for their big breakthrough in a Tour event.

HUDSON, NH – Derek Griffith continued his stunning season, as the 18-year-old driver picked up his second victory of his career in the Gate City Classic at Hudson International Speedway.
Griffith led the field to green, with Matt Frahm matched to his outside. Mike Parks and Cory Casagrande made contact before the field completed one lap, with Parks spinning to the infield. One the restart, Griffith began to flex his muscles, jumping out to a quick lead, before series rookie Nick Boivin spun off turn 4, bringing out the second caution. The field would settle in for a long green flag run, until Casagrande and Jeremy Harclerode made contact on lap 41, erasing Griffith’s sizable lead. The final caution of the race occurred on lap 47, when George Helliwell and Mike O’Sullivan tangled off turn 2, subsequently ending O’Sullivan’s night.

Barre, VT – John Donahue used a late charge to score his 15th career Thunder Road Late Model victory at Harvest Equipment Night on Thursday, June 11.
The Graniteville, VT veteran was fourth on the race’s final restart on lap 37 of the 50-lap event, but shot up to outside to take the lead from Cody Blake with 10 laps remaining. Donahue then held on during the final sprint to take the first Thursday night win of 2015 after starting 17th in the 27-car field.

HIGHT CHEVROLET 150 AT SPEEDWAY 95 IS THIRD PASS NORTH SLM VICTORY THIS SEASON FOR HALL OF FAMER MIKE ROWE
Hermon, Maine — Mike Rowe of Turner padded his lead in the AIM Recycling PASS North Super Late Model championship chase, posting an impressive victory in the Hight Chevrolet 150 at Speedway 95 in Hermon, Maine on Sunday afternoon. It was the third victory of the season for the Petit Motorsports team, winless on the PASS circuit for nine years before Rowe climbed into their equipment.
Reigning champion DJ Shaw of Center Conway, New Hampshire and Turner’s Glen Luce swapped the lead in the event’s early stages while eventual winner Rowe, who started 11th, worked his way into the top five by the 34th lap. Working traffic like the Hall of Famer that he is, Rowe blasted into the race lead less than five laps later.

Cassius Clark Hopes Speedway 95 Provides Spark To Turn Around Season
NAPLES, ME (June 10) – As the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) AIM Recycling Super Late Models Pres. By Kenny U-Pull prepare for race number six of the 2015 season, Cassius Clark is still seeking his first top five finish of the year. While the former series champion has performed well this season, currently sitting fourth in points, the numbers have still not been up to par for Clark. This Sunday afternoon, Clark and his fellow PASS competitors will head to Bangor, ME’s Speedway 95 for the Hight Chevrolet/Buick/GMC 150. Clark comes to Speedway 95 as the defending race winner at the event named for his longtime sponsor, but seeking redemption at the same time. Despite his win last year, contact past the start/finish line with DJ Shaw sent Clark into a dirt berm in turn one and out for the rest of the 2014 season.
