PASS North celebrates 2010 at Banquet of Champions
NAPLES ME (1/15) A full house of PASS drivers, car owners, team members and fans gathered Friday night to celebrate the 2010 season and honor the racers who make the three PASS North touring series some of the best short track racing in the east.
In his opening remarks PASS President Tom Mayberry’s hit upon the series’ new dates at Oxford Plains Speedway and L’Autodrome Chaudiere, the addition of series sponsors Crane Cams Ignition and AP Racing, and the switch to Hoosier racing tires for all three Northern tours for 2011.Mayberry noted that a strong contingent of PASS North teams have pre entered THE RACE at Historic North Wilkesboro and he believes that the event is on track for an 80-90 car super late model field when the $75,000.00 to win PASS South race gets the green on April 7-9. NAPLES ME (1/13) Pro All Stars Series (PASS) President Tom Mayberry has announced that the touring super late model series has reached an agreement designating Crane Cams Ignition as the official ignition of PASS.
“We are excited to welcome Crane Cams Ignition to our North and South super late model series for 2011,” said Mayberry in making the announcement. “The company is a well known and trusted name in motorsports and we are proud to represent them in the short track community. We encourage our competitors to support this program in every way possible.”

Waterbury, VT – On Saturday, January 22, 2011 Brian Hoar will be crowned American Canadian Tour (ACT) Champion for a record-tying 7th time since 1992. Hoar, from Williston, VT will celebrate by driving his RPM race team Chevrolet in the inaugural New Smyrna Speedway (NSS) ACT Goodyear Speedweek Cup event to be held on Sunday, February 13 and Monday, February 14, 2011 in New Smyrna, Florida.
Rick Paya, owner of RPM Motorsports, who also has won seven titles as former owner and crew chief for Jean-Paul Cyr and now Hoar, has also entered his newest team member, ACT runner-up rookie of the year in 2010, Austin Theriault from Fort Kent, Maine in the first-ever race in Florida for ACT. The formidable RPM team will field both a Chevrolet and Ford in the event.

ACT NEW SMYRNA FIELD ADDS FORD POWER WITH LATEST ENTRIES
Waterbury, VT – The battle for the Goodyear Speedweeks Cup just got tougher with the announcement from the American Canadian Tour (ACT) that three of the powerhouse Ford teams in ACT will make the trip to the sunshine state for the first ever New Smyrna Speedway (NSS) World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.
Joey Polewarcyzk, Jr. (Pole) from Hudson, NH was the hottest driver on the ACT at the end of 2010. His wins at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) ACT Invitational last September were followed up with a $15,000 payday at the Peoples United Bank Milk Bowl at Thunder Road Speedbowl in Barre, VT. Pole finished the touring season with a stunning performance in the 150-lap closer at the Waterford Speedbowl in Connecticut.

Waterbury, VT – American Canadian Tour (ACT) Tiger-Sportsman driver Bobby Therrien from Hinesburg, VT was the first to file a full entry for the 2011 BOND/WIX Tiger Tour.
The 2011 tour has been expanded to five 100-lap events. The Sportsman division has been in existence at home track Thunder Road in Barre, VT since 1964. For many northeast fans, the division is considered the most competitive weekly division in the Northeast. Most of the past and many of today’s stars of the American Canadian US Tour have been graduates of the Sportsman division.
