Vernon, CT (December 14, 2008): Start/Finish Productions continues an annual tradition with the presentation of the Autoparts Swap ‘n Sell on January 17&18, 2009 in West Springfield, MA. The largest indoor swap meet in the Northeast, held in the Better Living Center on the grounds of the Eastern States Exposition, provides a much-needed outlet for enthusiasts involved in all fields of motorsports from classic cars to stock cars and everything in between. During the struggling economy sellers have the opportunity to generate revenue by liquidating quality new and used parts while buyers can stay on track with their winter projects without breaking the budget.

2008 PASS South Rewind: Hard Luck Drivers
CHARLOTTE, NC (December 9) – Obviously we when look back at the 2008 season for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models, we look back at what were the high points: Alex Haase’s three wins and the championship, Justin Wakefield winning two straight, PASS North regular Trevor Sanborn’s sweep at Orange County, and John Stancill challenging for the National championship in his rookie season. But, this week, we look back at 2008’s “hard luck” drivers. Drivers that helped make the 2008 PASS South season a success just by being there. At the same time, challenging for the championship and wins, while not quite being able to get there.

WATERBURY, VT – Exciting changes have been announced for the 2009 American-Canadian Tour Late Model Championship stock car racing schedule. The 12-event calendar will put the Northeast’s premier Late Model touring series race teams to the test, bringing them to championship races at nine vastly different tracks in the United States and Canada, with an additional five “bonus” events at four tracks, including the division’s first superspeedway race at the 1-mile New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

BARRE, VT – The 50th Anniversary stock car racing season schedule has been released for 2009 for Barre, VT’s Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl. Nineteen events will be held during the summer-long celebration at “The Nation’s Site of Excitement,” beginning with the traditional Merchants Bank 150 for the American-Canadian Tour Championship Late Models on Sunday, May 3. The Merchants Bank 150 will raise the curtain on Thunder Road racing for the 11th straight year.

LOUDON, NH – Late Model stock car drivers will get their first super-speedway experience next year, as the 1-mile New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH hosts the inaugural American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Invitational on NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Sylvania 300 weekend, September 18-20, 2009. The ACT/NHMS event will have a purse of more than $65,000 for invited and approved teams that attend the historic, groundbreaking event for Late Model stock car racing.
