BARRE, VT – Three stock car racing divisional championships will be decided at Barre, VT’s Thunder Road with the 45th Annual Chittenden Bank Milk Bowl on Sat./Sun., Sept. 27/28. Eric Williams of Hyde Park, VT was crowned the Late Model division’s 2008 “King of the Road” Track Champion in August, leaving the NAPA Tiger Sportsman, Allen Lumber Street Stock, and Power Shift Online Junkyard Warrior battles to go down the season’s final event.

CHARLOTTE, NC (September 25) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) President Tom Mayberry and Hickory Motor Speedway promoter Sherry Clifton agreed Thursday to postpone Saturday night’s PASS South Super Late Model event due to weather concerns and a gas shortage in western North Carolina. The possibility of rescheduling the Over The Mountain 150 is being looked upon, but a date has yet to be announced.

BARRE, VT – Multi-time stock car champion Ben Rowe of Turner, ME will return to one of the few New England race tracks that he has yet to win at, Barre, VT’s Thunder Road, for the 45th Annual Chittenden Bank Milk Bowl on Sat./Sun., Sept. 27/28. The four-time Pro All Stars Series (PASS) champion and two-time TD Banknorth Oxford 250 winner will attempt to score his first victory at Thunder Road in the biggest event on the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Model schedule, a race he finished as the runner-up in one year ago.

CHARLOTTE, NC (September 22) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) President Tom Mayberry announced today that RC2 Race City Race Cars will be the presenting sponsor of the pole award for the four remaining races of the 2008 PASS South Super Late Model season. PASS South Super Late Model qualifying will now be known as RC2 Pole Award Qualifying. The fast qualifier at each of the last four events will receive $100 as long as they have an RC2 contingency sticker on their race car. The RC2 Pole Award will go to the fast qualifier regardless of where he lines up following PASS South’s traditional redraw for the top 10 qualifiers.

Naples ME – (September 22, 2008) Donnie Morse Jr. looked like he would have a solid top five finish as the laps ran down Sunday in the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Pluffybilt Sportsman 100 . But with four laps to go, Morse found himself scooting under the top four and taking over the lead as a four car melee at the front took out the rest of the front runners. Morse then cruised to victory over Russell Morse and Steve Bennett Sr. to score the win in the season’s biggest race for the PASS Sportsman division.
