 THOMPSON, Conn. � Seventeen-year-old Dale Earnhardt, Inc. development driver Trevor Bayne from Knoxville, Tenn. scored his first career NASCAR Camping World Series East victory Saturday night at Thompson International Speedway. The win came in Bayne�s sixth career start.

Rookie White Scores Flag-to-Flag Thunder Road Late Model Win

       BARRE, VT – Late Model stock car rookie Matt White of Northfield earned his first career victory at Barre’s Thunder Road on Thursday night in the 50-lap Charter Communications Trophy Dash.  White started on the outside of the front row and took the lead from polesitter Brooks Clark on lap 1, then drove uncontested to the win in a caution-free race.

Cassius Clark looks to Thompson for first 2008 PASS Win

Naples ME (July 8, 2008) When the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North super late models  roll into Thompson (CT) International Speedway this Saturday, Cassius Clark will still  be looking for his first 2008 visit  to the PASS winners’ circle in the Full Fendered Frenzy 75.

Orange County and PASS South Give Fans Dream Weekend Of Racing

CHARLOTTE, NC (July 8) –  There are a few weekends in racing that are marked on all real race fans calendars; the Daytona 500, the Indianapolis 500, the Grand Prix of Monaco, the All-American 400, the North-South Shootout, and the Snowball Derby.  NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula One, or short track, you name it, those races conjure memories of great racers winning at the pinnacle of their respective disciplines.  In 2008 the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) hopes to introduce an equally prestigious race to the motorsports landscape.  On July 19th at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, NC, some lucky racer will go down in history as the first winner of the Southern Sizzler 200.  But, how did it come to be and what will it offer to the fans?

Thunder Road Controversy to be Settled Thursday

       BARRE, VT – A major post-race controversy stemming from the disputed finish of last month’s “Media Madness” race at Barre’s Thunder Road will finally be settled on Charter Communications Night, Thursday, July 10 at 6:30pm.  Emotions erupted following the checkered flag on Sanel Parts Plus Night, June 19, as Mike McGill, sports reporter for WCAX-TV Channel 3, the CBS affiliate station in Burlington, VT, filed a protest with race control over his third-place finish.  To this day, McGill insists that he beat Stowe (VT) Reporter columnist Jesse Roman by a bumper for the runner-up position behind winner Mike Twist of Speed51.com.
