D.J. Shaw graduates to PASS North victory lane

 

Naples ME ( June 23,2008)  A lap 39 caution gave Pro All Stars Series (PASS) super late model rookie D.J. Shaw  the lead in Sunday’s Steel’s Real Rods and Custom 125 at Wiscasset Raceway and Shaw never looked back, earning his first PASS North feature win over Cassius Clark, Ben Rowe, Adam Bates and Travis Benjamin.

Polewarczyk Bounces Back With Oxford ACT Win

      OXFORD, ME – Nineteen year-old Late Model stock car driver Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. wiped away two months of bad luck with a dominant American-Canadian Tour victory in the Dunkin’ Donuts 150 at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday night. Polewarczyk won the season-opening ACT Late Model Tour event at Lee (NH) Speedway in April, then finished no better than 18th in
the next five events.

Michaud Wins Thunder Road Late Model Thriller

       BARRE, VT – Late Model stock car driver Cris Michaud of Northfield won a thrilling two-lap shootout over Hyde Park’s Eric Williams in the Sanel Parts Plus 50 at Barre’s Thunder Road on Thursday night.  Michaud, a three-time Thunder Road Track Champion, had a full straightaway lead lap 48, as the race had run caution-free until rookie Matt White hit the wall to bring out the yellow flag and bunch the field for the restart.  From there, Williams raced inches away from Michaud for the win but fell three feet shy
at the finish line.

NAPLES, ME (June 18, 2008) – Raleigh is the capital of North Carolina, but something about that is about to change.  While the state buildings will remain intact, on Friday, June 20th, Raleigh will transform into the capital of Super Late Model racing in the South when the Pro All Stars Series South tour heads into Wake County Speedway.

Rolfe Rides Hot Streak into ACT Event at Oxford Plains Speedway

       OXFORD, ME – Maine Late Model stock car racing star Ricky Rolfe is riding a seemingly unstoppable wave of momentum, one that he expects to continue through the American-Canadian Tour’s Dunkin’ Donuts 150 at Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday (June 21) at 6:30pm.  The Albany Township racer has won the last two weekly Late Model events at the 3/8-mile Oxford oval, and won the ACT New England Dodge Dealers 150 at the track in April.
