BARRE, VT – Hometown stock car racer Nick Sweet and Hinesburg rookie driver Bobby Therrien shone at
the season-ending Chittenden Milk Bowl at Barre’s Thunder Road on Sunday afternoon. In front of the
season’s largest crowd, both youngsters captured not only feature event victories in their respective
divisions, they were also crowned Thunder Road Champions.

BARRE, VT – American-Canadian Tour (ACT) stock car driver Patrick Laperle of Montreal earned a
convincing victory in the 44th Annual Chittenden Milk Bowl at Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl in Barre, VT on Sunday. The recently crowned Champion of the Serie ACT Castrol in his native Canada took the win with a dominating nine-point spread over runner-up Ben Rowe of Turner, ME in the three-segment, cumulatively scored race.

A Night of Firsts Lands Hindman In Victory Lane In the “Over the Mountain 150”
HICKORY, NC (September 30, 2007) – Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) has been the site of many firsts when it comes to the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model tour in the last two years. Hickory was the site of the first ever PASS South race in April 2006 and saw Mike Rowe take the first checkered flag. It was the site of Ryan Lawler’s first-ever PASS South victory and he has turned that success into two more series wins since then.

Ryan Lawler’s Hickory Dominance Comes to an End With Sudden Drop Out Late
HICKORY, NC (September 29, 2007) – Heath Hindman put an end to Ryan Lawler’s dominance in the PASS South Super Late Model series at Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) Saturday night in the “Over the Mountain 150” for his first-career PASS South victory. Hindman took the lead for good on lap 143, when Lawler, who had won the previous two PASS South events at Hickory and had a dominating performance Saturday going for his third in a row, suddenly slowed in turn one under caution with a bad alternator.

Different Drivers Have Different Agendas As Season Winds Down
NAPLES, ME (September 27, 2007) – As the race season winds down, so are the chances to see the drivers of the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models before they pack it in for a winter of bench racing. There are just two PASS North events just to run in 2007 and the next one will be a Saturday night shootout at All-Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire on October 6th.

WATERBURY, VT – The stations of Radio Vermont will produce weekend-long coverage of the American-Canadian Tour’s 44th Annual Chittenden Milk Bowl stock car event at Barre’s Thunder Road. A live Milk Bowl preview show will run from 5:00-6:00pm on Saturday, Sept. 29, with same-day event coverage beginning at 6:00pm on Sunday, Sept. 30. Both programs will broadcast on WDEV AM 550-Waterbury and WDEV FM 96.1-Warren and FM 96.5 serving Barre.
