Corey Williams Does It Again With PASS South Win at Lanier National

Momentum on Young Driver’s Side with Third Victory in a Row

CONCORD, NC (August 6, 2007) – Corey Williams is having one of those seasons most drivers would love to taste just once in their career.  On June 9th, Williams scored his first Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South win at Orange County Speedway (NC).  Then he followed it up with a victory in the PASS South event at Peachstate Speedway (GA) on July 3rd, serving notice to the competition he is on top of his game on the track.

Potter Wants to Break ACT New Winners Streak at Oxford

       OXFORD, ME – Parity has perhaps never been more prevalent in American-Canadian Tour (ACT) stock car racing than in 2007.  After the first seven events of the ACT Late Model Tour championship schedule, no driver has been able to repeat as a race winner.  In fact, four drivers have earned the first ACT victories of their careers in 2007, including Randy Potter of Groveton, NH.

?Run What You Brung? Spectator Races Return to Thunder Road Thursday

       BARRE, VT – Stock car racing fans at Barre’s Thunder Road will be put to the test on Thursday, as NAPA Auto Parts and Make-A-Wish present the return of “Run What You Brung” spectator races at “The Nation’s Site of Excitement.”  Race fans will have the opportunity to steer the family “grocery-getter” on Thunder Road’s famous high banks in an elimination-style race, with the winner of each match-up advancing to the next round.

CONCORD, NC (August 5, 2007) – Corey Williams continued his dominate streak in PASS South Super Late Model competition of late.  Williams took the lead late from Preston Peltier and went on to win the Saturday of Speedway 150-lap event at Lanier National Speedway on Braselton, GA on Saturday night.
