       BARRE, VT – Thunder Road will see four divisions of exciting stock car racing action return to its high
banks for the 12th time this year on Thursday evening, but will also play host to a pair of fun special events: the previously rained-out “Media Madness” race for news journalists, and the annual fan-favorite “Port-A-Potty Grand Prix.”  Calkins Portable Toilets and Pelletier & Son Quick Lube and Car Wash will present the human-powered outhouse race, along with the Media Madness race and events for the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Thunder Road Late Models, NAPA Tiger Sportsmen, Allen Lumber Street Stocks, and Power Shift Junkyard Warriors.

PASS South Ready to Return For 2007 Saturday of Speed at Lanier

Defending Race Winner Hopes To Repeat Success In Star-Studded Event

There are very few single events during the regular racing season where fans will see as much quality action as they will during the annual Saturday of Speed at Lanier National Speedway on Saturday, August 4th.  And that is why over the past couple of years, the Saturday of Speed has become one of the biggest single-day events in the Southeast during racing’s regular season.

 

 In 2007, that tradition will continue, as the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models will headline an event that will also include the Georgia Asphalt Series (GAS) Pro Late Models, Southern All Star Truck Series and Aaron’s Pro Challenge Series.

ACTion Super Series Winner Laperle to Race at Seekonk Speedway

       SEEKONK, MA – American-Canadian Tour (ACT) stock car driver Patrick Laperle of St-Denis, QC, winner of the ACTion Super Series 200 at Autodrome St-Eustache near Montreal last weekend, plans to compete at the Phil’s Propane 100 at the historic “Cement Palace” – Seekonk Speedway, on the Massachusetts seacoast – on Saturday night.

Kelly Moore Adds a PASS North Victory to His Long Resume

Summerfest Victory Comes Down to Close Battle between Veteran and Rookie

NAPLES, ME (July 30, 2007) – Kelly Moore has done a lot in his career.  He’s raced at tracks from Daytona to Indianapolis Raceway Park to Antigonish, Nova Scotia.  He’s set the all-time pole and victory records in the NASCAR Busch North/Busch East Series – winning his most recent event last summer at New Hampshire International Speedway.  He won a NASCAR Touring championship.  For years, he was even referred to by many as the “Dale Earnhardt of Maine,” thanks to his always-exciting and aggressive driving style and the fact that he would usually be driving a black Chevrolet.
