LEE, NH. (September 23, 2008) — Lee USA Speedway announced today the addition of the Lee Late Model Division to it’s “Prelude To Oktoberfest” race program on Sunday September 28th. The top division at the New Hampshire oval will compete in a 30 lap feature race as part of the special program featuring nine divisions of competition. Speedway operatives have received inquiries from as far away as Long Island, NY and Seekonk, MA., for the two consecutive weekend programs. The annual Oktoberfest will contest on October 4th and October 5th.

Lee, NH (Sept 1, 2008) – – “Any young race fan afforded the opportunity to ride in a stock car will always remember the moment,” said speedway announcer John Spence. “I know I have, some 47 years later, it’s a sound, a feeling, an image I’ll never forget.” Reflecting on his journey around a race track he would later become affiliated with Spence added, “It was Bob Dube, a racer out of Haverhill, MA, a Hudson Speedway Class B regular, he probably never knew, but he gave me a life long remembrance, so clear, it was like it was yesterday.”

On Saturday, August 16, 2008, as part of a fundraising effort, the New Waterford Speedbowl hosted four of the area’s fastest and most exciting racing divisions-the International Supermodified Association (ISMA), the True Value Modified Racing Series (TVMRS), the Northeastern Midget Association (NEMA), and their own NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modifieds.
