BKR Development Driver Sees Through One Of Best Career Efforts

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – Austin Theriault capped off a strong weekend in the Brad Keselowski Racing No. 29 Checkered Flag Foundation Dodge Charger with a third-place finish in the Governor’s Cup 200 at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., on Saturday, November 17.

Theriault called the effort one of his best – from start to finish – in his year with BKR.

“If you split up a race weekend into three segments – practice, qualifying and the race – I think that would be correct,” said Theriault, whose finish was his best in 10 career starts for BKR dating back to the fall of 2011. “We felt really confident in practice that we were going to have a car that could run for win. In qualifying, there’s still a little bit more on the table that I’m trying to find, and the race went somewhat to our liking.”
