Valee-Junction, Quebec – DJ Shaw and the #60 Precision JLM Racing team returned to Quebec, Canada this past weekend for the second race of the season at the Autodrome Chaudiere, the “Habitations Dany Lagace 150,” the seventh Pro All Stars Series North event of the season. Shaw rode in the top five all night with a competitive car, and finished in the fourth position when the checkered flag flew. Nascar Sprint Cup Series star Denny Hamlin, driving a car prepared by the Shaw’s at their shop, Dale Shaw Racecars, finished in the seventh position. Overall, Shaw was pleased with his team’s performance.
“We had a really good car, just not quite enough to contend for the win tonight,” Shaw said after the race, “Working with Denny Hamlin was great as well, he’s a pretty down to Earth guy and seemed happy with the car we provided him, our crew is great and they worked hard again this week, I can’t thank them enough.” (more…)

Hermon, ME – After a few weeks off, the Precision JLM Racing team with DJ Shaw behind the wheel traveled to Speedway 95 near Bangor, Maine for the sixth Pro All Stars Series North race of the season. Shaw lead the race early and continued his strong season with a third place finish in front of a packed crowd at the 1/3rd mile track.
“We had a really good car today, but Mike (Rowe) was really good on that long run we had and we couldn’t get back by him at the end,” said Shaw after the race, “There was definitely a lot of side by side racing all day long, we had fun and I’m happy to leave here with a good result.” (more…)

Oxford, ME – DJ Shaw and the #60 Precision JLM team returned to Oxford Plains Speedway this past weekend for the start of the new Pro All Stars Series North season. After driving what Shaw described early in the day as an ill handling car, he put on an epic show with the “Maine Racing Legend,” Mike Rowe for the win, and started the season with a strong second place effort.
“We weren’t good enough on the short runs there at the end,” Shaw recounted of his effort, “I feel like we had the better car, but getting to Mike and passing him are two different things. He earned this one and after the struggles we had in practice with this new car I’m really happy with the second place run.” (more…)

Anderson, SC – DJ Shaw and the #60 Precision JLM Racing team got their 2015 season kicked off this past weekend at Anderson Motor Speedway in Anderson, South Carolina. The “Peach Blossom Special” was the start of the Pro All Stars Series National schedule. The team faced plenty of adversity this past weekend, as they swapped cars twice, and fought through mechanical failures before calling it a night early in the 150 lap event after the brakes failed and ended the race in the 16th position.
The weekend started with the primary car’s engine smoking in the first practice. The team turned around quick and rolled out the backup car, and showed plenty of speed throughout practice. However, the team found more engine issues with the backup car and went back to the primary car during the final practices of the day. After practice the team had to change radiators and turn it around quickly before qualifying. Shaw was only able to qualify 16th, but felt like he had a good piece to run the race with. After just 20 laps, Shaw stormed through the field and cracked into the top five. As soon as he did though, the brakes failed on the 60 Precision JLM car, and Shaw fought brake fade for the rest of the night before bringing the car in for good with 15 laps remaining, finishing in the 16th position. Oxford, ME – DJ Shaw and the Precision JLM Racing team fought through a long Pro All Stars Series North season, and had to overcome plenty of adversity and the grueling demands of racing against some of the best drivers in the Northeast. After their runner up finish in the “Ripley & Fletcher Ford 150,” their hard work was rewarded as they were crowned as PASS North Champions. While going into the race with a points cushion over six time PASS North Champion Johnny Clark, Shaw knew anything could happen and was going to run as hard as he could to secure the title.
“It’s been an incredible season, and to see our cars go 1-2-3 in the season finale makes it even better,” Shaw said from Victory Lane, “Today was just a fantastic day. I thought that last caution was going to hurt us, but we fought hard and got the finish we needed. Johnny (Clark) had a strong season, as well, and I congratulate him and his team for that. Today was our day, and now it’s time to celebrate. I’m thankful for my great car owners Rita and Julio Miglioli, all of our partners, my parents and this great team for all their support.”
