Gabe Brown finally secured a victory in the PASS North Super Late Model Series after an infraction was uncovered during Sunday's 150-lapper at Oxford Plains Speedway. This win marks his first victory of the season, providing much-needed momentum as he navigates the competitive landscape of the series.
The Center Conway, N.H. driver has been dominant on the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour, fielding entries from his family shop, while also preparing cars for owner Bobby Webber, Jr. in PASS. While Brown has amassed three wins in the ACT standings over five races, his performance in the Super Late Model series has been more inconsistent, marked by near misses and setbacks throughout the season.
During the race itself, Brown led the opening 95 laps before Alexendre Tardif took command later on. Although Tardif was credited with a win, the infraction discovered post-race meant Brown was awarded the victory instead. This marks Brown's fifth career PASS North win and his third at Oxford Plains.
The rest of the field saw action as Joey Doiron finished second, followed by Johnny Clark in third place. The race concluded with a strong showing from D.J. Shaw in fourth, rounding out the top ten finishers for this event.
