The road to the main event at Oxford Plains Speedway kicked off with intense qualifying sessions on Wednesday night. Johnny Clark and Gabe Brown both emerged victorious from the 50-lap qualifiers, setting the stage for the upcoming Celebration of America 300 on Thursday.
In the first qualifier, Johnny Clark demonstrated blistering speed, leading every lap as he jumped to the front row and maintained control throughout the entire run. Clark is looking to harness this momentum as he seeks a return to form at the Maine track.
Gabe Brown also secured a win in the second session, leading wire-to-wire. Brown noted that recent shop changes and hard work have paid off, fueling his confidence heading into the final race.
The rest of the field showed strong competition across both sessions. Corey Bubar finished second in the first qualifier, while Derek Griffith took second place in the second. Other notable finishers included Joey Doiron, Jimmy Renfrew, Jr., Garrett Hall, Alexendre Tardif, Trevor Sanborn, and Mike Hopkins.
