NASCAR Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will make a special visit to Portland, Maine this Tuesday, July 21, with stops at The Holy Donut, Luke's Lobster Portland Pier, and Lucky Catch Cruises.
Stenhouse Jr. will return to New England on August 23 to compete in the Dollar Tree 301 NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
News, sports and lifestyle media are invited to any and all stops to get NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s take on what Portland, Maine has to offer as well as interview him about the August 21-23 NASCAR weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS).
Stenhouse will begin by making Maine potato donuts at The Holy Donut, enjoy a lobster roll lunch at Luke’s Lobster Portland Pier, and learn about lobstering while taking in the scenery aboard a Lucky Catch Cruise. Time will be allotted at each stop for media interviews, and video and photography are permitted at each.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is the driver of the No. 47 Chevrolet for Hyak Motorsports and is the 2023 Daytona 500 champion, currently sitting 27th in point standings and a four-time career NCS winner.
New England’s only NASCAR Cup Series weekend is August 21-23 at NHMS. On-track action kicks off Friday with practice and qualifying for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) plus SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels at The Flat Track. The action continues on Doubleheader Saturday with the Team EJP 175 NCTS race and the Mohegan Sun 100 NWMT race following NCS practice and qualifying. The on-track action culminates Sunday with the Dollar Tree 301 NCS race.
