Alexendre “Fireball” Tardif delivered an electrifying performance at the Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday, August 9, 2026, securing the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Tune-Up to the 250 victory. The Quebec resident started from the pole and dominated the field, marking his first PASS win in the final visit to Oxford before the Nitro Trailers Oxford 250 Weekend.

Tardif’s win placed him among the first group of drivers to capture a PASS victory in the 2026 season. This achievement makes him the third first-time PASS winner of the year and the first Quebec-based driver to secure a PASS event win since Patrick Laperle in June of 2015.

During the race, Tardif faced challenges from competitors like Johnny Clark and Corey Bubar early on. Despite pressure from other racers, Tardif skillfully navigated the traffic, eventually moving up to 12th place in the 28-car field. He ultimately took the checkered flag by a margin of 6.405 seconds.

The Sunday event at Oxford Plains was packed with action across multiple divisions. Other notable results included Bill Penfold’s win in the Kennebec Equipment Rental PASS Modifieds and various feature races, showcasing the breadth of competition at the massive gathering.
