Oxford Plains Speedway and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) have officially announced the dates for the 54th Annual Oxford 250, which will take place over three days: August 20, 21, and 22, 2027. This long-standing event promises to bring together top Super Late Model competitors from across New England and beyond, continuing its tradition as one of the most sought-after short track trophies.
Since its debut in 1974, the Oxford 250 has grown into a major regional spectacle, attracting thousands of fans to the historic facility. The weekend combines intense on-track competition with the atmosphere of a large festival, making it a memorable destination for short track racing enthusiasts.
The event maintains a unique qualifying format, where starting positions for the heat races are determined by a random draw on the frontstretch. This system ensures that local racers and established teams are placed on equal footing, emphasizing race craft and determination throughout the 42-car field.
The 54th running will continue the legacy of high-stakes racing, following the 2026 event where Brandon Barker secured a victory. Drivers will compete to conquer 250 laps and earn a place in the history books alongside legendary names like Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick.
