Mike Rowe secured his eighth career championship at Oxford Plains Speedway in a dramatic fashion during the Oxford Championship Series finale. The season-long battle for the title, which featured intense competition from Brandon Barker, came down to the final moments of the afternoon.
In the 100-lap Mid-Coast Excavation Super Late Model feature, Dave Farrington, Jr. claimed the victory. Farrington took the lead on lap 25 and successfully held the top position through the end of the race.
Rowe finished sixth in the feature, narrowly placing ahead of Brandon Barker, who crossed the line seventh. This finish allowed Rowe to clinch the track championship after a hard-fought season-long rivalry with Barker.
The rest of the top five saw Joey Doiron finish second, while Gabe Brown settled for third. Matthew Bourgoine came in fourth, with Sylas Ripley rounding out the top five finishers.
