BRADFORD, VT – Multi-time and defending DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Champion Adam Pierson put on a clinic Night at Bear Ridge Speedway on Saturday, winning the 50-lap DIRTcar Sportsman Modified double points feature on KDD Napa night. Pierson, of Fairlee, VT, started tenth on the grid and took the lead on lap 11, rolling to an easy win. Kevin Chaffee finished second with Bryan King third.

SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Bradley Babb of Windham, Maine, finished 17th in the PASS North Series Southern Maine Chrysler Dodge Jeep 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, May 4. Babb, the reigning NASCAR Whelen All-American Series track champion at Beech Ridge, started 13th in the 28-car field and fought the handling on the No. 14 Babb Wood Contractors/McGoldrick Bros. Blasting Chevrolet from the outset. Babb pitted several times under caution throughout the event to try and make improvements, but in the end he patiently avoided wrecks and salvaged a 17th-place finish.

SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Brad Keselowski Racing development driver Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, finished seventh in the PASS North Series Southern Maine Chrysler Dodge Jeep 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, May 4. Theriault’s finish was his best PASS North Series finish of the season, and it extended his streak to seven consecutive Top-10 finishes in PASS-sanctioned races dating back to last season. Theriault started 15th after qualifying through the first round, and he raced as high as sixth on a late-race restart. Track position proved crucial late, particularly as the car’s handling tightened up over the course of the 150 laps, and he ended up seventh at the checkered flag.

WESTBROOK, Maine – John Peters of Westbrook, Maine, hopes to rebound from engine troubles last time out when the Amsoil NELCAR Legends Tour competes in a 25-lap feature at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, May 4. Peters finished sixth last time out at Speedway 95 in Hermon, Maine, two weeks ago – but was sidelined by a blown engine for the date the following day at Oxford Plains Speedway. Peters made his NELCAR debut at Beech Ridge with a 10th-place finish last September, just weeks after becoming the youngest champion in track history at 15 years old when he won the Beetle Bug JV title for entry-level cars as part of the 10-week VIP Thursday Thunder series.

MANCHESTER, Maine – Reid Lanpher of Manchester, Maine, attempts to make his PASS North Series debut in the Southern Maine Chrysler Dodge Jeep 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, May 4. The 14-year-old JR Motorsports development driver narrowly missed qualifying for the season opener at Oxford Plains Speedway two weeks ago, but he’s confident that luck will be on his side this time around. Lanpher – who is coming off a career-best qualifying effort of third at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Va., last weekend with JR Motorsports – will again team with veteran NASCAR K&N Pro Series East driver and crew chief Andy Santerre for the race at Beech Ridge.
