Lady Luck gets a front-row seat in Acceleration opener
OXFORD, Maine – Oxford Plains Speedway somehow won the weather lottery again Wednesday night, and five of the eight feature winners in the opening round of the Acceleration Series benefited from that same brand of luck.
Without season points to rely upon for handicapping purposes, starting positions were determined by blind draw. Competitors fortunate enough to pluck a front-row pill from the bag wound up winning five of the main events.

Adams waltzes to second straight Oxford Networks Late Model win
OXFORD, Maine – Apparently Travis Adams' rivals in the Oxford Networks Late Model division at Oxford Plains Speedway won't be able to count on lack of sleep as an impediment to his dominance.
Five days after becoming a father for the second time, Adams drove the rest of the field to school in Saturday night's 40-lap main event. He took the lead three laps shy of the halfway point and cruised to a win of more than five seconds over Carey Martin.

Adams out-duels Rolfe on late restart
OXFORD, Maine – Travis Adams got the jump on Ricky Rolfe in the outside lane on a restart with 14 laps to go and held on to win the Oxford Networks Late Model season-opener Saturday on Double T Fence Night at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Rolfe denies Cyr in clash of champions
OXFORD, Maine – It looked so easy for so long, until a fellow champion crashed Ricky Rolfe's party.
Rolfe dominated the early stages of Saturday's New England Dodge Dealers American-Canadian Tour 150 at Oxford Plains Speedway, but the two-time OPS champion was forced to withstand a late challenge from seven-time ACT king Jean-Paul Cyr to win a touring event at his home track for the first time since 2002.
