Waterbury, VT – For the second time this month, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Lee USA Speedway officials have announced the postponement of the 28th New Hampshire Governor’s Cup, citing unsuitable ground conditions at the facility. The event has now been rescheduled for Saturday, May 12 at 2:00pm.
Excessive mud and moisture has persisted at the track throughout April due to heavy snowfall over the winter. Freezing rain and cold temperatures this past weekend further worsened the conditions, making it impossible to get the grounds race-worthy in time.

Barre, VT – Thunder Road is less than two weeks away from the Community Bank N.A. 150 on Sunday, April 29. As part of an action-packed card currently scheduled, the Allen Lumber Street Stocks will be one of the divisions kicking off their 2018 season. The popular 4-cylinder division has been a mainstay at the speedway since 1993, but will see many new faces this coming season when they tackle the high banks.
A combination of rookie drivers and competitors returning from a high banks hiatus are in line to join the Street Stocks in their 26th season. They will replace the fleet of racers who have moved up to either the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers or Maplewood/Irving Late Models, assuring the division will continue to provide the thrills fans expect.

Big Weekend In Store For New England Race Fans At Oxford Plains
NAPLES, ME (April 17) – For Maine race fans the wait is finally over as short track racing returns this weekend to Oxford Plains Speedway. Following a weekend off due to bad weather, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models will make their first stop of the season in Maine on Sunday for the Honey Badger Bar & Grill 150. GRANITE STATE PRO STOCK SERIES
CLAREMONT, N.H.
With opening day of the 2018 Granite State Pro Stock Series fast approaching, officials are preparing for May 4th at Claremont Speedway earnestly.
The season will again be headlined by a 50 lap feature event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway as part of the New England Short Track Showdown June 24th. Hudson International Speedway and Oktoberfest at Lee USA Speedway will be joining the series along with others from the New England region. (more…)
