Ryan Blaney and Ben Rowe Earn Series Championships
The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South and National Super Late Model Series seasons concluded at Concord Speedway (NC) on Saturday, November 26th with the running of the Thanksgiving Classic /Mason-Dixon Meltdown 200. When the checkered flag flew, Colt James earned his first PASS South victory while Ryan Blaney won his first PASS South championship and Ben Rowe earned his second PASS National series title.
34 Super Late Model drivers took to the track for qualifying. Jay Fogleman, who entered the event as the South division points leader by a mere six points over Blaney, set fast time, followed by Heath Hindman, James, Blaney, Eric Darnell, Logan Ruffin, Austin Theriault, Gray Gaulding, Preston Peltier and Trey Mitchell. Andy Loden, who entered the event 10 points behind Fogleman in third, qualified 16th. National points leader Rowe (by 38 points) timed in 19th while Cassius Clark, second in National points, qualified 18th.

Buxton,Maine- Ryan Phillips Motorsports is excited to announce that for the 2012 racing season they will be competing full time on the Pro All Stars Series Modified division. The family owned team recently took delivery of a PASS modified purchased from Dale Shaw of Center Conway New Hampshire. It is the same PASS Modified that Shaw drove to victory at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway during the PASS 400 weekend back in September.

Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour (ACT) announced today that the top teams of the US-based ACT Tour, the Quebec based ACT Castrol Series, and Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl will receive in excess of $100,000 in championship point fund awards at the season-ending ACT banquets to be held in December, 2011 and January, 2012.
Highest money earners are car owners Rick Paya from the ACT US Tour and Patrick Laperle from the ACT Castrol Series. They will each receive year-end point fund checks of $10,000.00. Both teams ran the full twelve (12) race series in their respective areas.

Kyle DeSouza left the comfortable confines of Seekonk Speedway in 2011 to tackle one of the country’s toughest super late model series, the Pro All Stars .When the final checkered flag flew at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway, the young man from Fairhaven Massachusetts raced home seventh in the season long PASS North point standings and was named the PASS North Co-Rookie of the Year, an award he shared with New Brunswick Canada’s Lonnie Sommerville.
Like most rookie campaigns, DeSouza’s year had its ups and downs. The team concentrated on learning the new tracks and new race cars and the new drivers racing around him. DeSouza’s used to winning; he won in every division he tackled at Seekonk and earned rookie of the year accolades every time he moved up a class.

Barre, VT – Thunder Road officials have announced that season passes for the ¼-mile speedway in Barre, VT are available now for the 2012 season with the same prices as in 2011. Season passes make great holiday gifts and can be purchased through the Waterbury office.
Season pass prices remain at $199 for an adult general admission pass for all events. Children passes are $59 (ages 6 to 12), while gold season passes are $259. The gold season passes reserve the seat of your choice for all events in 2012. The renewal deadline for 2011 gold season pass holders is January 1 to reserve the same seat. Season passes intended for holiday gifts can be purchased up to Thursday, December 15 to receive them in time for Christmas.

Waterbury, VT – The 2012 schedule featuring twelve (12) point- counting events, and the special combination event with the ACT US teams, the “Showdown at Chaudière”, has been announced for the popular Castrol Late Model racing series sanctioned by The American Canadian Tour (ACT).
Four tracks will host three events each from the opening event at the Autodrome Montmagny east of Quebec City in late May through the close of the race season at the Autodrome Ste. Eustache outside Montreal. Circuit Riverside Speedway in Ste. Croix, QC and Autodrome Chaudière will each host three events, including the CAN-AM combination event with ACT Castrol teams and ACT US teams and the fifth annual “Showdown at Chaudière”.
