Waterbury, VT – The engines finally fire up on the 35th season of the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) this Saturday, June 13 at N. Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP). The 45th running of the Spring Green, presented by NAPA Auto Parts of Littleton/Whitefield and Sanel NAPA, marks the long-awaited opener for the region’s premier Late Model touring series.
The circumstances of Saturday’s event are far different than envisioned when the 2020 ACT schedule was first drawn up. Due to the ongoing worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, no spectators will be allowed to attend the event in accordance with state health and safety guidelines. Waterbury, VT & N. Woodstock, NH – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) will kick off its 2020 season at N. Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park this Saturday, June 13. Series and track officials have announced the Spring Green 120 for the ACT Late Model Tour will go on as planned with a pay-per-view broadcast on Northeast Sports Network (NSN). Post time has been set for 5:00pm.
All divisions that were originally scheduled for the event remain on the card. This includes the start of season-long track championship chases with point-counting events for White Mountain’s Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers and Woodsville Guaranty Savings Back Strictly Stock Mini’s with both divisions. The GoMotorsportsShop.com NELCAR Legends Tour rounds out the program with their second visit in seven days to the high-banked quarter-mile speedplant. The event is slated to be presented by NAPA Auto Parts of Littleton and Whitefield, NH along with Sanel NAPA.
July 18 NASCAR Xfinity Series race realigned to Kentucky Speedway; NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race canceled
LOUDON, N.H. – As part of NASCAR’s revised 2020 schedule, the July 19 NASCAR Cup Series Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has been postponed to August 2 and will be broadcast on NBCSN at 3 p.m. ET. Due to ongoing considerations with the pandemic, it’s unclear at this time if fans will be allowed access to the rescheduled date.
The Granite State ProStock Series kicked off its ninth season of competition on Friday night and Ray Christian III started 2020 the same way he ended 2019.
Under clear skies and a full moon, the green flag finally fell as a stacked field of Pro Stocks descended on the Claremont Motorsports park for 100 laps of green flag racing. Some of the top drivers in New England took advantage of the opportunity to be a part of the first pro stock race contested in New England in 2020.
Competition began with The Crazy Horse Racing Fast Time Challenge and It was home town hot shoe Luke Hinkley coming up just short of a new track record. One of the tightest time trial fields on record headed for heat races with great anticipation and didn’t come up short on excitement.
Claremont Motorsports Park &GSPSS Return to Action
Claremont Motorsports Park will swing open the gates and return to action Friday June fifth. Three local divisions will be on the card competing in heats and features alongside the Granite State Pro Stock Series. Fans will not be permitted in the grand stands as the track follows state guide lines for social distancing, but the entire program can be seen via pay-per-view on speed51.
WMMP, NSN Unveil Full Pay-Per-View Options for June 6 & 7 Events
N. Woodstock, NH – White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) and the Northeast Sports Network (NSN) have officially unveiled the full set of pay-per-view options for the track’s season-opening doubleheader on Saturday, June and Sunday, June 7. While fan attendance at the events is not permitted due to current state health and safety guidelines, racing fans around the world can enjoy a full weekend of racing from the comfort of their homes.
NSN will have live flag-to-flag coverage of all qualifying and feature races at both events. The Saturday, June 6 program includes all five of the track’s regular divisions with extra-distance, non-point features. Sunday, June 7 features the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models in their first championship event of 2020.
The cost of the pay-per-view has been set at $15 for Saturday and $25 for Sunday. Access to each broadcast is now available for purchase at https://www.nsnsports.net/sponsors/wmmp.
Both events can be viewed worldwide on the NSN website as well as most mobile and smart TV platforms. This includes the NSN mobile app along with popular streaming services such as Roku, Apple TV, Amazon TV Fire Stick, and Google ChromeCast. With so many options, fans will have plenty of ways to catch all the action either by themselves or with family and friends.
Live coverage begins at 5:00pm on Saturday, June 6. The Foley Oil & Propane Late Models have a 75-lap feature while the Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers go 50 laps. Both the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini’s and 7-Eleven Dwarf Cars will run 30-lap features. The Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Trucks round out the card with a 20-lap event.

The doubleheader continues Sunday, June 7 at 2:00pm with the PASS 150 for Super Late Models plus a 40-lap “B” main if needed. The PASS Modifieds are also opening their season with a 60-lap feature while the Honey Badger Bar & Grill Street Stocks have a 50-lap bout. Teams can sign up for either event by contacting their respective track or series office. Pre-registration is required in order to compete. Each team must also supply officials with a list of crew members attending so the event can meet current New Hampshire COVID-19 guidelines.
