THE STORY
Lonnie Sommerville of Saint John, New Brunswick, looks to keep his momentum rolling when the PASS North Series competes in the PASS 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, N.H., on Saturday, May 21. Sommerville is coming off a fourth-place finish at Star Speedway in Epping, N.H, and the Mulkern Racing driver sits third in the series points after the first two races of the season. Sommerville has never competed at White Mountain, though the team did test there last week..

N. Woodstock, N.H.- Pro All-Star Series Driver #97 Joey Polewarczyk Jr of Hudson N.H. will make his second consecutive start in the Super Late Model Series, when they visit the extremely fast quarter-mile White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) this Saturday, May 21, 2011
Polewarczyk Jr, coming off his Career best third place finish at Star Speedway on May 14, looks to continue with his recent success in the Series. “We felt that getting the podium finish at Star was a weight lifted off our shoulders. We knew the Pole’s Automotive, N.H. Precision, Hedman Hedders Ford Fusion was capable but we just needed to seize the opportunity” Joey says.

NAPLES ME (5/17) The thunder will roll Saturday evening when the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North super late models kick off White Mountain Motorsports Park’s 2011 racing season, a track that’s a favorite stop for PASS racers and race fans alike.
The smooth and fast high banked quarter mile will celebrate its eleventh year on the PASS North schedule in 2011 and fans can count on another bull ring barn burner when the first green of the North Woodstock NH speedway’s season flies 4:00 PM .

While the weather was not near as nice as opening day at Beech Ridge the Texas Roadhouse North East Mini Stock Tour rolled into the newly reopened Star Speedway in Epping, NH. Fighting a bleek forecast many teams from all over New England made the trek to the southern New Hampshire speedway.
Practices started off early and had much excitement with many teams having trouble with mechanical problems including Emerson Cayer having a broken steering rack. As the cars rolled through pre race technical inspection teams drew for their heat starting position. Two heat races were held for the 18 mini stocks at Star with the Volkswagens showing the pace. Calvin Rose won the first heat and Loren Smith negotiated the win from the second heat.

Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour (ACT) will make its first ever appearance at the fast ½ mile Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven, VT this Sunday afternoon. The 38th running of the Spring Green 111 is expecting to have over 30 teams converge on the scenic, newly paved speed plant, built and operated by the Richards family since 1967. The inaugural event one year ago opened the renovated semi-banked progressive track with the Thunder Road ACT Late Models. The battle between local favorite Mike Bruno from nearby Rutland and former Thunder Road Champion David Pembroke was a classic 100-lap battle seen by a full house and a very enthusiastic crowd.
