Waterbury, VT – Newmarket, NH’s Bryan Kruczek has filed the first official entry for the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Commonwealth Classic 65 at Virginia’s Richmond Raceway on Saturday, March 30. The 2-time Pro All Stars Series winner will pilot the #19NH Little Webb’s Fuel/Sunoco Chevy Camaro for Bobby Webber Jr. Racing in ACT’s maiden voyage at the ¾-mile D-shaped oval.

ACT Heading to Richmond Raceway for Inaugural Commonwealth ClassicFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) will be heading south this spring. ACT and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced today that the ACT Late Models have been added to the Inaugural PASS Commonwealth Classic at Virginia’s Richmond Raceway on Saturday, March 30 at 1:00pm.

The ACT Commonwealth Classic 65 will be the debut for ACT-type Late Models at the famed ¾-mile speed-plant. The non-point event will pay $5,000 to win and $750 to start, making it one of the largest purses of the year for Northeast Late Model drivers.

Inaugural PASS Commonwealth Classic At Richmond Moves To March 30, 2019?

  • Weekend Will Also Feature Tour-Type Modifieds, ACT Late Models, Street Stocks, & 4 Cylinders Racing Under the Lights

NAPLES, ME (December 21) – Officials from the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and Richmond Raceway announced today a new date and additional details for the inaugural PASS Commonwealth Classic following last October’s postponement of the original date due to weather.  The PASS National Championship Super Late Models will headline the inaugural PASS Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway on Saturday night, March 30, 2019.  This date was originally mentioned after the postponement in October by Richmond Raceway and PASS officials and was confirmed with today’s announcement.  The PASS Super Late Models will compete in a 100-lap event on the famed 3/4-mile oval, along with a 75 lapper for the Tour-Type Modifieds.  As previously announced, the MASS Street Stocks will race for 40 laps, while the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Models and 4-Cylinders have been added to complete this night of grassroots racing.  Optional hauler parking and safety inspection will be held on Thursday, March 28 from Noon to 4 PM.   A practice day for all divisions is scheduled for Friday, March 29 from 11 AM to 5 PM. On Saturday, March 30, additional practice will start at 9 AM, followed by qualifying at 1 PM, and racing set to begin at 3 PM, all ending under the lights at Richmond Raceway.

GSPSS joins forces with the RPM seal alliance

On December 14 the Granite State Prostock Series notified its competitors that beginning with the 2019 racing season, an engine seal program would be implemented. There will be a three year roll out of this program culminating with all engines being required to comply during the 2022 season. The rules and technical specifications for this program going forward will be found on the GSPSS website which will be updated by Jan. 1 2019.
