New names stepping up to challenge the PASS regulars at LEE USA

Naples ME (July 6) The fastest full fendered race cars in the east are back! Lee USA Speedway will host the Pro All Stars  Series (PASS) North  super late models for a special Tuesday night July 14 appearance at the Route 125 oval, and the series competitor’s couldn’t be more pleased with their return to the immaculate speedway  that hosted  the first ever PASS race nine seasons ago.

Bates PASS point kingpin as series readies for Full Fender Frenzy

Naples ME (July 8 2009) Warner New Hampshire’s Adam Bates leads a star studded field of Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North super late model racers to Thompson International Speedway this Saturday July 11th, but the latest PASS race winner and point leader will have his hands (and mirrors!) full as the fastest full fender race cars in the east tackle the fastest short track in the Northeast.

Wakefield Works Hard for Hickory Win

Naples, ME 7/7/09- It may have been a good thing that it was a PASS South double header this weekend, for Justin Wakefield at least. After a twenty-second place finish in race one of the double header, Friday night at Greenville-Pickens, Justin Wakefield made the statement, “I don’t know if I ever want to drive a racecar again.” Well it was a good thing he did and it was probably a good thing it was only two days later because at night’s end the thoughts he had of Greenville were nothing but a foregone conclusion as he celebrated in victory lane for the first time in 2009.

Fogleman Scores PASS South Firecracker Win in Wild Finish

Naples, ME 7/4/09- In front of a packed house at Greenville-Pickens Speedway, in what may have been the best ever race since the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South came to life in 2006, Jay Fogleman scored his second series win of 2009. Fogleman won the Firecracker 125 after three attempts at a green-white-checker finish. Second was Brian Ickler driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports followed by a season’s best third place for Alex Fleming. Series point leader Ben Rowe pulled an old Super Late Model out of his dad Mike’s barn and drove it to a fourth place finish. Fast timer Ryan Blaney rounded out the top five.

double your pleasure, double your fun With a PASS South Independence Weekend Double Header

Naples, ME 6/30/09- Race fans, teams, and officials will all prepare for a double header this weekend as the PASS South super late model series will invade the Greenville-Pickens Speedway on Friday July 3rd for the Firecracker 125 followed by a Sunday night shootout at the famed Hickory Motor Speedway on Sunday July 5th for the first ever Independence 150. The double header will mark the first of its kind for the five year old series and with the anticipation of several newcomers expected to make their 2009 PASS South series debuts, it’s shaping up to be one of the best Fourth of July weekend races in the country.

Adam Bates unstoppable at Beech Ridge

Scarborough ME (June 26) Adam Bates took over the race lead from Scott Chubbuck just past half way in Friday nights’ Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North 150 lap super late model feature to score his  third career series win,  his second at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. The Granite State racer had a car that could dominate and the talent to take advantage of it in a race that was short on cautions and featured a 115 lap stretch of green flag racing. Bates now  has two wins and two second place finishes in the last four PASS races at Beech Ridge dating back to July of 2008.
