Tasha Dyer, of Arrowsic, ME., will be back this season racing in the Super Streets Series, at Wiscasset Speedway. So what has the driver of the #32 car been doing in the off season? “Traveling the eastern seaboard, spending time with friends & family and getting ready for the 2015 racing season!”
Opening day at Wiscasset for the Super Streets in on April 18th, so is the 32 car all set for the green flag? “No, unfortunately. We’re just getting my new car out of the snow bank this weekend.”
The race divisions at Wiscasset Speedway are divided into two groups which alternating racing every other week. “Being a racer, my ideal schedule is to race every weekend. However, with the possibility of wrecking and having a life outside of racing, having the week in between every race gives us time to work on the car after a bad wreck and have some family time in between.” (more…)

Waterbury, VT – American Canadian Tour officials have announced a New Champions Program for the ACT U.S. Tour in 2015. The program is a revival of the old New Champions point standings from the former ACT Pro Stock Tour in the 1980s and early 1990s.
The ACT New Champions Program will include any driver who has not won more than one ACT U.S., Série ACT or special ACT-sanctioned event prior to the start of the 2015 season and is approved by ACT. The program will award eligible drivers points and year-end monies based on a separate point system for each ACT U.S. point-counting event they attend and attempt to qualify for. A point fund has been established for this program.

11 year old Kate Re of Lovell, Maine is getting ready for the 2015 race season in the Junior Sportsman Division, at Richmond Karting Speedway. “I’m excited to start the racing season and am almost ready. The karts are mostly ready having participated in two motorsports shows this winter – Northeast Motorsports Expo and Racin’ Preview 2015. We still have some mechanical work to do but we are ready for the most part.”
Even in the off season, the Re race team has been gearing up for race new season. “We did a couple car shows in the off season, helping to support Richmond Karting Speedway. I’ve also done a lot of snowmobiling and we’ve been getting some new safety equipment for the upcoming season.” (more…)

New Smyrna Beach, Florida – After competing in the Florida Governors Cup and the Red Eye 100 at New Smyrna late last year and early in 2015, the Derek Griffith race team were gearing up for their most successful speedweeks to date.
Unfortunately, after a lap one skirmish that left the No 12 Mom’s of Manchester Toyota Camry on the wrecker back in the pits, the young New Hampshire driver had a lot to think about.

BROCKTON, Mass. — Established haunts make up the 2015 Northeastern Midget Association schedule, including a return to White Mountain Motorsports Park after an absence of many years and the season opener at Evans Mills Motorsports Park on May 23rd.
As NEMA President Russ Stoehr puts the finishing touches on the final schedule, there are 12 races currently on the NEMA agenda while the NEMA Lites will make 12 stops in what will be the club’s 63rd consecutive season, making it New England’s oldest sanctioning body. There is a possibility additional races will be added to one or both schedules at a later date.
