Joey Doiron Autodrome Chaudiere Race Preview
THE STORY
Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, heads north of the border with the PASS North Series for the Habitations Dany Lagace 150 at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee-Jonction, Quebec, on Saturday, June 23. Doiron will try and rebound from a mechanical failure last time out at Speedway 660 that dropped the No. 73 JBJ Machine/Scarborough Downs Chevrolet out of the series points lead for the first time this season. Doiron was never a factor the last time PASS headed to Chaudiere, having been involved in an accident in his qualifying race. After four races, he sits fifth in the series standings – just 14 points out of the lead. (more…)

Barre, VT – South Burlington, VT’s Trampas Demers made a return to victory lane in the Late Model Stock Car division on Thursday (June 21) night’s Casella Waste Management event at Barre’s Thunder Road. Demers, who was driving his father’s familiar #86 automobile after a hard wreck in last Sunday’s (June 17) event, had to hold off a hard charging Jamie Fisher and Cody Blake to pick up his first victory of 2012.

CANAAN, NH — The Granite State Pro Stock Series 112 lap event scheduled for this Saturday, June 23 at Unity Raceway in Unity, ME has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond control. No makeup date has been announced at this time.
The Granite State Pro Stock Series will mark the return of pro stock racing to Hudson International Speedway in Hudson, NH on Sunday, July 8, with the return of the “Gate City Classic”. The 100-lap main event will now be the second event on the 2012 Granite State Pro Stock Series season. Mike O’Sullivan of Springfield, MA scored the win in the season opening event at Monadnock Speedway. (more…)
Weekly Racing Begins This Thursday Dave Pembroke’s (44VT) win last Sunday (June 17) put him back in the title hunt heading into this Thursday’s (June 21) Casella Waste Management Night.
Barre, VT – This week Casella Waste Management presents the return of weekly Thursday night (June 21) racing to Barre’s Thunder Road. All three premiere divisions will be in action for a full card of racing under the lights to kick off a summer to remember.
After a sensational start to the season, Barre driver Nick Sweet leads the Late Model point standings heading into Thursday night’s event. Close on his tail is Lt. Governor Phil Scott looking to claim a record fourth Late Model title at Thunder Road. Fresh off his win, defending champion Dave Pembroke and Waterbury’s Brett Wheeler join the group of drivers seeking to dethrone Sweet atop the Late Model standings. (more…)
Pre-Race Pit Pass for Both Sprint Cup Races Sold Out
LOUDON, N.H. (June 19, 2012) – Imagine having the opportunity to hang out in the Celtics locker room before they take the court at the TD Garden. Or how about a quick run around the bases at Fenway Park minutes before the first pitch. New Hampshire Motor Speedway has provided fans with this opportunity when it comes to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
The speedway increased its “pre-race pit pass” allowance by 300 percent for the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 on July 15 and the SYLVANIA 300 on Sept. 23, and fans didn’t waste any time for their opportunity to get up close and personal with their favorite drivers and teams. (more…)
