St-Eustache, QC – The Série ACT Castrol event schedule for Saturday, June 2 at Autodrome St-Eustache in St-Eustache, Quebec has been postponed due to rain. The 100 lap event has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 7.
The St-Eustache 100 was scheduled to be the second of twelve events on the 2012 Série ACT Castrol schedule. 2010 Série ACT Castrol Champion Karl Allard of St-Félicien, Quebec claimed the win in the season opening 100 lap event at Autodrome Montmagny on Saturday, May 26. While Allard notched his 10th career Série ACT Castrol win, Jean-François Déry claimed the points lead while leading the majority of the event and finishing third. Déry holds a slim two point lead over Allard, while 2011 Série ACT Castrol Champion Patrick Laperle sits in third after a second place effort at Montmagny.

THE STORY
Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, takes the PASS North Series points lead into the PASS 150 at Riverside Speedway in Groveton, N.H., on Sunday, June 3. Doiron has posted one win, two Top-5s and three Top-10s in three races thus far this season and holds an 11-point lead atop the standings as the series heads to its third straight event on a New Hampshire quarter-mile track. Doiron made one appearance at Riverside during his 2010 Rookie of the Year campaign, finishing 14th. Despite a second-degree burn on his hip suffered in the last race at White Mountain Motorsports Park, Doiron expects to suffer no ill-effects from the injury this weekend.

LOUDON, N.H. (May 30, 2012) – It wasn’t that long ago that A.J. Allmendinger was turning his first laps in NASCAR at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the Camping World Truck Series. A little over five years later, the Californian is a full-fledged star in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, and in July he will return to “The Magic Mile” to take part in the annual WOKQ FanFest on Thursday, July 12.
Allmendinger will answer questions from Mark and 2K of WOKQ’s Morning Waking Crew, then will hang around to sign autographs for a few lucky fans. During the day, the first 100 fans to buy Allmendinger merchandise will receive a wristband that will allow them access to the autograph session at his souvenir trailer in the Broadway Midway.

It completed a dream for the former champion, etching his name into the final spot of the granite block that lists the 50 Memorial Day Classic winners, but his dreams were not the only ones to come true.

NAPLES ME (5/30) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) takes its racing road show to northern New Hampshire on Sunday June 3 when all three PASS North touring series tackle the tough quarter mile known as Riverside Speedway.
The Groveton speed plant will host the touring pros after a one year hiatus and fans of the Super Late Model, Mod and Sportsman series are anxiously anticipating their return to the Connecticut river valley oval.

Cassius Clark made an early outside charge in Saturday nights Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North 150 to capture the lead and score the super late model feature win at White Mountain Motorsports Park. Joey Polewarczyk earned the second spot with defending series champion Johnny Clark third, DJ Shaw fourth and Travis Benjamin fifth.
The win was Clark’s first PASS North checker since the 2009 season and the fourteenth of his PASS North career.
Gary Smith and Travis Benjamin led the twenty six car field to the green and it was Benjamin jumping out to the lead with Joey Pole, Derek Ramstrom, Smith and Ben Rowe in tow. Clark was coming from his eighth starting spot and as the field strung out he rambled up the outside groove, putting his Hight Chevrolet out front on lap eighteen.
