Fredericton N.B. – As Speedway 660 continues to look towards SPEEDWEEKEND and the Auto Value 250, the winner of this weekend’s Best of the Best Pro Stock 150 will not only receive a trophy and a cheque, but also a provisional starting spot in the “250”.
Some of the top regional Pro Stock teams are expected to make their way to Geary alongside Speedway 660 regulars hoping to make their Labour Day weekend less stressful by not having to worry about qualifying. (more…)
Austin Theriault: ACT Late Model Tour

CLAREMONT, N.H. – Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, finished 12th in the ACT Late Model Tour Jim’s Captown 100 at Twin State Speedway in Claremont, N.H., on Saturday, July 9. The finish was Theriault’s second straight Top-12 as he moved to 10th in the ACT standings. Theriault won his heat race to qualify in the Top-10 for the main event, a 100-lap sprint where track position on the tiny bullring proved crucial. (more…)

Lee, NH – 2008 Valenti Modified Racing Series champion Chris Pasteryak was
the big winner in the Port City 100 presented by Laticrete at Lee USA
Speedway on Friday night, taking down his second MRS win of the season under threatening skies.
Louie Mechalides was first to set the pace in the Modified main, but Joe Doucette knocked him off the point just three laps in. The pair led the way to lap 25, but by halfway, Mechalides had faded to fourth, and Doucette was under attack from Pasteryak. (more…)
Lonnie Sommerville: PASS North Series

SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Lonnie Sommerville of Saint John, New Brunswick, won the PASS North Series Southern Maine Motors.com 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, July 9. The win was Sommerville’s first career victory in the series, and came after he led on two occasions for a total of 35 laps – including the final 34. Sommerville started third after winning his heat race and never dropped out of the Top-5. He used lapped traffic to make the winning move on Lap 117.

New Brunswick racer claims his first PASS super late model victory
Scarborough ME (7/9) Lonnie Sommerville took the lead for good on lap 116 of Saturday night’s Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Southern Maine Motors.com 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway and drove away from the field to put an exclamation point on his first PASS race win.
Sommerville beat the best of the best. Johnny Clark ran second, Matt Frahm’s third place marked his career best PASS finish and Joey Doiron rallied to come home fourth. (more…)
