AMSOIL signs three-year agreement with East Coast Snocross as presenting sponsor; Woody’s, Choko, New England Racing Fuel also return for 2013-2014 season
CHESHIRE, Conn. (Sept. 17, 2013) – Officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) are pleased to announce the signing of a three-year agreement with AMSOIL, a world leader in synthetic oils and lubricants, as co-presenting sponsor for the popular regional snocross series.
AMSOIL again joins Woody’s Traction and Control products as valued presenting sponsors at ECS.

ECS riders to perform on wood chip track at famed NHSA Grass Drags & Water Cross
CHESHIRE, Conn. (Aug. 27, 2013) — While the 2013-14 snowmobile snocross season may still be a few months away, several top athletes from the East Coast Snocross (ECS) series will have a chance to shake off the cobwebs a little early.
Officials from the northeastern regional sanctioning body have reached an agreement with directors of the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association (NHSA) to add a “snocross on wood chip track” exhibition race to the annual NHSA Grass Drags & Water Cross, slated for Oct. 11-13 in Fremont, New Hampshire.
Competition will take place periodically throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, with a practice session planned for Friday afternoon. This event will include a “meet and greet” opportunity, allowing fans a chance to interact with ECS racers to gain insight on the exciting sport of snocross.

Corin Todd wins Pro finale, claims 2013 Championship for East Coast Snocross series,
Presented by AMSOIL and Woody’s Traction
Patenaude brothers claim Pro Lite finale and Sport title
MALONE, New York (Mar. 25, 2013) – New York native Corin Todd powered his machine to victory in the last Pro final of the season, securing the 2013 championship as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed its season finale Saturday at the Titus Mountain Family Ski Center.
Todd (Bailey/Hulten Polaris), of Otego, passed Lemieux after the first of 14 laps and led to the finish. Lemieux (Lemieux Racing/Ski-doo) settled for second just a tick over three seconds back, while 2012 champion Danny Poirier (Bailey/Hulten Polaris) filled out the podium in third.
Friday evening’s Pro final was run under the lights at Titus, with Lemieux claiming the win to keep pressure on Todd in the points fight. Michigan native Kevin Wallenstein (Ingles Performance/Ski-doo) stepped up from Pro Lite to run second in an amazing effort, while Poirier was rock solid in third. (more…)

Snowmobile race teams from around the northeast are gearing up for a dramatic conclusion to the 2013 season, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) prepares for its season finale on Friday and Saturday, March 22-23, at the beautiful Titus Mountain Family Ski Center in Malone, New York.
This year’s season finale will feature a different format, with racing under the lights Friday night adding a new level of excitement. Spectator gates will open at 3 p.m. Friday, with racing getting under way at 4 p.m. with amateur qualifying rounds. Pro and Pro Lite riders will hit the track by 6 p. m. and contest their finals during the evening. (more…)

Lemieux, Ellis split Pro finals in Boonville for East Coast Snocross series,
Presented by AMSOIL and Woody’s Traction
Wallenstein makes a clean sweep in Pro Lite
BOONVILLE, N.Y. (Mar. 5, 2013) – Veteran snowmobile racers Lincoln Lemieux and Derek Ellis each won a Pro final over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 8 of its nine-race 2013 schedule at the Boonville-Onieda County Fairgrounds.
Lemieux (Lemieux Racing/Ski-doo), of St. Johnsbury, VT, prevailed in a battle with defending champion Danny Poirier (Bailey/Hulten Polaris) to claim Saturday’s 14-lap final. Poirier led five laps yet settled for second, while Ellis kicked off his weekend with a solid third. (more…)
